Sack all the engineers and replace them with green politicians. They can tell us the temp exact to a tenth of a degree, decades into the future.

As much as I dislike sky, i agree with them right now. Stop weather watching and get this race going. Why hasn’t Burt gone out to test the track? At this point they might as well cancel the race and postpone it…

Yeah, they were less safer. Good thing that F1 is a lot safer nowadays, not just because of the cars but also because of all the rules and regulations in place.

So no need for drivers to risk their lives unnecessarily for your entertainment.

Why? We have plenty of time to get a full race in.

Under the new rules (after last years Spa)
No points will be awarded unless the minimum of two laps have been completed under green flag conditions.
Points will be awarded on a 6–4–3–2–1 basis to the top five if less than 25 percent of the race is completed.
Points will be awarded on a 13–10–8–6–5–4–3–2–1 basis to the top nine if between 25 percent and 50 percent of the race is completed.
Points will be awarded on a 19–14–12–9–8–6–5–3–2–1 basis to the top 10 if 50 percent to 75 percent of the race is completed
SO if we don't race full time, there a chance to take from 5-6 points more then Ves to nothing. That's why!!!!!

If you will watch the weather all day, there is no point to race.

Secondly, selfishly I don’t have time to spend 4-5 hours watching this race today and I’d like to watch it now!

The cars after 15 years of safety are safer.....I saw Webber turn upside down and bin it in the barriers at a high rate of speed.

I don't see what the problem is currently racing on a wet track while it's raining. The drivers will be safe.

EDIT: It's not raining currently.......why have they not started the race in the wet???
It's not how start but how you finish.

I’m sitting on the couch with my cat on my lap, but okay. Falling asleep.

I do agree, the standard Monaco procession, was as close to a guaranteed 1-2 as you could get.

I'd rather the start was delayed like it is now, than if it had got started and the then eventually stopped because of the rain with the race clock counting down with no actual racing.

Yeah if we now get a full race then it was a good decision rather than the clock counting down or following SC for lap after lap.

Indeed! People are acting (including sky) like Freitas has never been a race director before.

Just cause you can't see any problems don't mean there aren't any problems. It's very to pretend something you're are not. The race director has 25 years experience of being a race director and you, like myself, have zero day experience of driving a F1 car.

I honestly don't see what the problem is currently on the track. It's wet. Full wets displace 22 gallons of water per second per tire.

I never said I had experience in driving an F1 car.

Pretty sure the race director hasn’t had a single day driving an F1 car either, so…

No problem now as they are going to race, F1 car's can't cope with standing water, read up on aquaplaning...

I was obviously being sarcastic….using race controls mentality there is no point starting if rains coming again. Right?

Yeah, I know all about driving in the rain in my cars......you just have to drive slower. One of my cars, a 2009 SL550 has Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires.

The inital delay was to allow teams to prepare the cars for the wet...
