The gap is closing…maybe Leclerc was saving tires?

Its not just about building it for the driver. Lec doesnt fault Ferrari's approach. Its just that even though we had a good concept at the start of the season, we have been outdeveloped. We need better engineers. This happens every time. Even if we set aside the strategy/reliability blunders, we are nowhere in terms of race pace.

Yeah, it wasn't an insane strategy actually.

So suddenly our car doesn't work with any tyre compound.
Again thanks FIA for this TD.
We can't even think about winning any other race now, smh.

not to mention the porpoising...which is still going on.............a problem that has yet to be solved.

It would be nice for the tifosi if Verstappen has an issue…

Nowhere? Ferrari could've had 4 more wins this season on race pace in Spain, Monaco, France, and Hungary. But strategy, engine woes, and a driver error took all of them away. Can't put that on the engineers at the factory.

It became worse after the TD, for the good of the sport.

Carlos isn’t making up any time on George.

Damn. I was hoping to see both Ferrari boys in the podium.

Leclerc slowly gaining a few tenths on Verstappen. 17 seconds between them.

Too late, not enough laps left. Plus, the gains may be because of Verstappen hitting a bit of traffic

Our tyre mgmt woes got worse around Hungary, im not sure if we could have won that race. Yes, I did talk about the other issues but inspite of them, we clearly got outdeveloped. Merc is also much quicker than us in terms of race pace at most circuits. Binotto and the rest of the clowns at Maranello are just unable to come up with a workable solution.

I think all of us really know the answer but only ask this question every year to vent out frustration.

Such a delayed decision, so Russell gets a free stop there.

once again it feels like we had the pace but not the strategy.
This year is painful to watch, such a good car, great drivers but bad choices and bad luck everywhere we go.
hopefully the safety car can help us out today.
