    Sainz 1.33.767

And no visible porpoising at 280km+ without DRS

I'm liking what I'm seeing, so far. Of course, it doesn't mean that the SF23 is the fastest car just cause I'm liking it, although I hope it is, but I'm liking it!

Can't wait to see what Charles can do with this car. Less understeery front tyres, stronger front end, it should suit him nicely.

Is that straight that much bumpy, or it is porpoising?

I don't think I have ever seen the F1-75 sparking on the straights as much as the SF23. So Ferrari already running the car much lower than they ever did last year, even before the TD39. Positive sign.

Is the engine used for pre-season testing excluded from the 3 engine limit per season? What about other components such as ERS etc.?

Didn’t watch the testing footage, but I’ve read that our car had was the most bouncy or porpoising out of all teams, is that true?

Honestly I had couple of glances at the broadcast, and I am not sure it that porpoising or that track is bumpy

    Same here.
ALSO, it is the first day, noone can take anything from this. Maybe on day three.

So it's testing so the component allocation allotment is NOT included. This also includes filming day and Pirelli tire testing. Teams can change out as many components as they like during these times.
It's not how start but how you finish.

    2022 Bahrain GP - Leclerc’s Pace;

Full Fuel Load with C3 Tyres Pace: 1.38.500-1.39.000
Half Fuel Load with C2 Tyres Pace: 1.36.500-1.37.000

We can have some idea with race stints.

To my eyes it’s a bumpy track, not porpoising

It's just the 1st day but we only have 3 of testing so it matters.
From the little I managed to read ,it looks like RedBull is a step in front. From the medium stints Ves is the only one capable of setting the fastest lap on his 1st lap and then continue lapping super consistently for 10 laps ALL in 1:36s.
We haven't managed to do that and nobody else.
    Let's see .
    FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!

It finally looked like Ferrari did some actual testing today. Rather going around the track, doing short runs-long runs, topping the timesheet and racking up laps, they actually did some meaningful testing today.

The car is fast, and it will be unleased in the qualifying. Until then, hold on to your nerves.

(I am expecting the car to be more dialed up for tomorrow.)
