Alonso is a monster given his age.
It's not how start but how you finish.

We must be confident of qualifying pace if we don't even do much. Maybe Fred see's we were one of the worst in terms of race pace given how fast we were last season and we will work on race pace most weekends.

Either we're sandbagging heavily in S3, or we're struggling massively there

alonso did 1.30 in the fp 2
now he is a leader with 1.32

there is more to show the teams have

but i still think that the teams on the grid have less gap than last year.

It's hard to tell where we stand but Sainz being much slower than Charles doesn't bode well for a good team performance this weekend.

So until now it seems that a team 2sec slower last year has found almost 3sec of pace and we look furthermore behind of Red Bull in comparison to last year...well it doesn't make sense...
I dont believe we are going to be behind Alonso...if we are then something gone really wrong with this years car

Charles Leclerc: "Yeah Yeah. There were mistakes on my part but it's ok. We should be good for qualifying."

but it depends, what he means "good" That we can be ahead of Ham ???

Just read a article regarding rb and ferrari ware they are the only 2 teams to use there cars lower than anyone else and that in yesterday's 2nd prac they were both heavy with fuel and turned down engines.charles pole time was a 1 30 5 they just did 1 32s in third prac.just wait til q3 and see what the true times are.

    Fingers crossed!
Maybe they're hiding their potential from the competition or trying to increase the life of the PU without having to unnecessarily exert it.
Whatever it is, I'm praying our situation isn't as bad as it seems.

    2022 FP3 , S3 - 23.374
    2023 FP3 , S3 - 23.256

And we were slower than Verstappen in FP3.

But we gained 0.2 against Verstappen when we tuned up the engine.

So i still believe… hope i am not wrong

it seems to me that we won't win the title before 2029, then they would break the record of the winless series again, as is their custom here, it would be 22 years, I'm talking about the driver's title!!

Ferrari's main loss is in S3 and in one of Charles's flying laps, Xavi said to him:

"Did a good job in Turn 1 and 10 and missing a bit in Turn 8 and YOU KNOW last corner."
