He’s barely a number 2. Doesn’t deserve to be in a top team
He was very impressive in McLaren. It's not that he's bad, Leclerc is far better at handling cars that drive like a tractor.

After last year, both of our big problems are still there, basically. Not good enough.

Not a new experience, but this is painful viewing. Looks like we're probably 3rd best on the grid and only just ahead of Merc.

Ok...im casually pessimistic timist...but can you remember what many people here were about last year after Charles win. Some were dreaming about 9-10wins during the season...and we all know how it ended.
So yeah it is a very bad start but it only race no 1

What impressive things he had done at the Mclaren? Won races like Gasly or Ocon? Put that car on pole like Norris?

And whether it's tractor or a rocket ship, Charles is always faster. Stop sugarcoating Sainz's limitations. Out of the top 3 teams, he's the weakest number 2.

When you start the regulation cycle on top, you dominate for the whole cycle. Our next chance is 2026 unfortunately. Ferrari can’t get their act together.

We haven't moved anywhere since the end of last year. Tyre degradation horrible, engine going boom, so we're still nowhere.

Would fully agree with if it was not for the engine failure at the first race.

we are faster 0.3-0.4 second with fresh set.

And slower 0.6-0.7 second after 12-13 laps.

Idk how it is even possible to make it.

Williams 10th and 12th.....that's definitely an improvement from last year.

So this car still can't nurse it's tyres like the RB and the engine is still going down.

Maybe they should put less effort on the car launch ceremony and more effort on solving these teething issues.

Please we've been hearing that bedtime story for 15 years now. Ferrari will be lucky to get a couple of wins this season.

Sainz is faster over one lap than Pérez who's the most overrated and luckiest driver on the grid. He frequently missed Q3 in the 2021 Red Bull for crying out loud.

It's going to be increasingly hard to keep Leclerc around at the dumpster fire that is La Scuderia at the moment. Once he's jetting off somewhere and Pérez and Sainz are the new two drivers, it's back to 1992 and being lapped again.

Ferrari should come out of their political world & hire good tech dept, else they will never win a title.

They gave away 2 years (2020 & 2021) to get a head start in 2022. But no result.

As I said last year during 2nd half of season by looking at Max dominance it seems like RB era. It will continue till 2026. Mark my words.

    Where would he go??
No room at red bull and Merc isn’t any better apart from being more reliable
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Sainz got slapped by Charles again today, pretty much like Perez by Max. And Perez at least drove 20+ laps behind Charles. Not sure why Sainz always gets excused by fans.
