Our only hope is that we are sandbagging and as for ICE changes already, something is just not right, maybe installation issues? Charles not happy and also complaining of clutch problems. Somehow I was hoping this weekend our fortunes might change but it currently looks like wishful thinking.

Charles wasn't too confident with his PU. Was asking a bit about some power surge and whether everything was alright. A bit concerning.

The car isn't bouncing, balance looks pretty good. But the lap times aren't impressive.

The fact is, we ARE slow…at least in FP1 we had our engines turned down, but in FP2 we’re up there with red bull in terms of speed, yet we are too freaking slow

And AM with Alonso even though they are slow in trap speed, he’s only within a tenth of Max….that aston martin is a quick car

It’s as simple as that. You should have got the idea last year itself RB took off 2022 2nd half.

This looks similar to RB-Vettel 2010-2013 era. Now it’s RB-Max era 2022-2025.

No team can catch them with this cost cap in place & also RB/Newey got the edge with these ground effect cars.

Ex: 2017 was a good base car with engine power /reliability issues. They went different direction in 2018…. The same continued in 2019 as well.

Similarly 2022 was a good base car. We shouldn’t have accepted that TD39 directive. Ferrari had that veto power.
Now with current car, our drivers are finding difficult to drive (drivability’s issue).

i hate to brake it to you, but we DON'T have that VETO power no more.....those days are LONG gone

Let's not worry too much about practice. We don't know what the team was testing. Hopefully quali will throw up a different picture.

Ferrari is still 2nd fastest team. Come quali Ferrari will be close to RB.

My point is that’s not enough. Below are my concerns

1. In season development
2. Tyre deg issues
3. Reliability

With AMR hanging on behind. If we don’t get top these issues, we will loose 2nd in WCC for sure.
RB is out of reach, they have plenty of advantage in race pace.
