    Another big difference was through turn 3 and 4. The floor was bottoming out in those corners and Charles had to lift off. From the onboards, I could clearly hear the floor was hitting the tarmac rather violently. Max and Alonso were flat through turn 3 and their car was stable through turn 4. That's where the pole was lost.

    In traction, the SF23 was better than both the RB and the AM.

    and after quali, you could see from the hand gestures that Charles was using when talking to Max..he was showing him how the car was bottoming out
