Ferrari F1-75 PL1 Vs SF-23 PL1. Then look at Red Bull RB18 Vs RB19. There are those who have more load and those who have lost it.
    Minimum speed cornering 9:
    SF23 242 (-6), F175 248 km/h,
    RB19 252 (+11), RB18: 241 km/h.

It's a bit of a hybrid design, the tub is still there, but then the sidepod tries to downwash. I'm not sure how those competing philosophies will work, but that's why I'm just an accountant and not an aerodynamicist.

Updated sidepods working so well... right? I would laugh if it wasn't such a damn tragedy. Man I hope the Ferraris are running on low revs or something because otherwise it's just sad.

Well Carlos seemed to have upped the tempo, so that's nice to see. Not sure what the delta between Mediums and Softs are here but he is 0.6s up on Max. I doubt there is a 1.6s tire delta, so FP1 times were not "real". Slightly encouraging to see.

What do you expect? That everything works right away? Do the commentators always have to mention porpoising? They are part of the problem. We lost one year, we can criticize that we did not have the needed vision after TD039. Short term, this is what is possible. We have to be realistic, I don’t expect miracles in the short and medium term.

On Canal+ said that Ferrari did not have the same software as the others to see the position of the drivers on the track. It is the only team with its own software This may explain why they didn't see Norris in Monaco in Q3

well thats the problem. Whatever we do we cant run too low without porpoising. We lift the car and lose dnf. After 1 year we still cant solve this.
when our pain are going to end ???!!!!!

Merc & Ferrari I guess are the only teams facing this issue. Rest of the teams solved it.

If Mercs wouldn’t have asked for mid rule change TD39, how crazy it could have been for ferrari fighting for victories.

I'm quite happy. This is the first time car looked "on it" during the long run. Both drivers were smooth and there was no "fight the car" at all. There was no bottoming out, and the pace on a nearly 20 laps old softs looked quite competitive.

Ferrari always makes a big jump from Friday long runs to the actual race pace. I'm exciting to see what the Sunday would bring.

    "
the data they'll have for their hard tyre long runs will be on a tyre that they're not actually using for the grand prix"
we are allways doing simpe/luck of imagination things. BUT when we deside to do something "out of the box" , we usually do crazy/with no logic staff !!!

What you saw was floor oscillation due to the speed and bumps. It's normal for the ground effect car.

Any comparison of our race pace vs RB race pace

From what I've seen so far, neither driver looked like struggling with the balance, whether it's short or long run. So I don't think there are "sacrificing" anything.

We'll fight for the pole here.

I see only can Leclerc can do it. Also our long runs looks good over Aston/Alonso & matching Perez.

Hard to compare. Ferrari went first for the long runs, both on prototype tyres. Charles had no drop off but Carlos struggled a bit. Max was on mediums so his times looked faster.

On softs, both Ferrari's were faster than Perez. Max looked faster but he bolted the softs later and his tyres were fresher.

But the positive thing was, the balance looked good. It looked stable and under-control.

so that's mean our position on FP2 is not important and we're better than our last races ? It feels kinda awkward , i think everyone set the fastest time with quali setup
