Yeah, he seems to be getting horrible lucks more often. And his side of garage is totally not up to the mark.

It's rare for Charles to get a clean weekend and the electronics issue and missing FP2 will just add to his frustration. Carlos looking OK but at least it's only practice and FP3 will be crucial for Charles, cooler temps and a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow and Sunday looking even less favourable. I imagine the new Pirelli tyre compound may be causing some surprising FP times too.

so what's changed on the tires compared to the ones we've had until now??

A Good Practice session from the Williams cars. Not getting too carried away by it, hopefully we can continue with this sort of performance, going into the Qualifying session.
This is Williams 800th GP, the cars have a Special Livery this weekend.
The good times WILL return, and FERever.

Scuderia Ferrari broke the curfew last night (from 9.05pm onwards), presumably to work on Charles Leclerc’s car.

As it’s the first instance of breaking the curfew this season, no punishment is applied.

It is really hard to understand.

We are faster than Mercedes by 0.6-0.7 seconds on flying laps yet race paces similar.

Losing that kind of advantage is unbelievable

Watching this muted, Croft is even more obnoxious and annoying than usual today.
C'mon guys, let's have at least one Ferrari on the front row for the race.

Charles Leclerc was flying on 2nd set of softs in 1st & 2nd sector then backed up due to drizzle in Turn 15.

Apparently track is too dry for inters, too wet for slicks.

Didn't managed to watch FP3 but from what I read, again we look fast in 1 lap, but quite behind on race pace. Probably 3d 4th team on race pace.

There is a possibility that Charles could beat Max in 1 laps . But yes race pace is terrible , slower than RB around 0.5 sec

This is like Mercedes W04 , flying on one lap . Drops a lot when it comes to race

I see some teams ( mostly AM and Merc ) choosing a more loaded set up. This makes them slower in the straights and a bit slower for qualy, BUT with good race pace and good degradation. Why are we keep running with with lower loads?? It looks like with suffer from this in tire management that leads to slower race pace. I thought that the new front wing gave more load the front .if that's the case we don't we run a bit more load to the back as well ( for good balance and better tire management)??

I thought we somewhat fixed our race pace with the upgrad3s we’ve brought as of late, unless the Canada and Austria was just track specific and in this high speed track we seem to suffer more???

I ve been asking this exact question for a while. No one really knows but some ppl says the car designed in that direction. I guess more loaded wings doesnt give us anything more than less loaded set up.

One of the biggest disadvantage is traction if we compare to last year. 2022 car was freak when it is comes to traction and acceleration.

When ferrari is quick , most of the cases it will be wet qualifying & they struggle to get the heat into those tyres.

    Real test for Leclerc now.

Just follow what others are doing. Ferrari's pitwall should stop trying to be smart cause they aren't
