They goofed it up by going early. Those who started late were getting faster and faster. Charles would've got the pole on pure pace had be been gone out later. But nonetheless, good job, from both drivers.

Engine is the only saving grace for this team. IT IS the most powerful ICE in F1 and Monza will be equally good.

    Vers Lec H2H

    S1 -0.083
    S2 -0.703
    S3 -0.034

-0.703 at Sector 2 is mental.

The car is a rocket on the straight. RB's clever DRS design is giving them the edge over us on the straights, but when the DRS is off, the SF23 is the fastest.

Shows the advantage of going late. Max improved by 1.5 seconds in the S2 during his final run.

Not us, RB. Without the DRS, we are 4-6 kph faster on the straight than the RB. And more than that over the others.

Mag was buffon and blocked him throughout the second sector during his penultimate Q2 lap. It almost costed him dearly, had he not improved in his final Q2 lap.

It's a slam drunk penalty for Mag.

Only driver who came close to Verstappen is Piastri at S2

    45.697 vs 45.852 ( Only 2 drivers under 46.000 )

I think both took a bit more risk at corners which paid out for them.

That and track evolution. If the conditions remain dry than Mclaren will get eaten alive by the others. They are the slowest can on the straight without DRS.

I wish Ferrari could decifer how red bulls DRS works so that they can implement it in their car in 2024....I know wishful thinking, but we can dream right??

Every race weekend something or the other error from the pit wall team.

When the track is drying & sending out our cars so early doesn’t make sense. Leclerc lost good chance of pole on merit & Sainz lost Potential P3.

The remaining races is also the chance to real track testing compoments and design for 2024 car so i still have some hope in it . As this car will be the first car that is not design by Binoto , i hope that the quali pace and race pace is decent enough to atleast secure P2 next year . If my dream come true, i could hope for championship fighting in 2025 . Well just my wet dream tho !

for this particular session the difference was relatively small

    With DRS
    Per 340
    Vers 339
    Lec 337
    Sai 336
    Ham 333
    Pia 326
    Nor 326

    Without DRS
    Ham 318 (Possible Tow)
    Lec 316
    Vers 316
    Sai 315
    Per 315
    Nor 310
    Pia 309

I don’t know tf Mclaren is doing. May be they have tuned the car for Rainy Race Conditions.

Happy to see Charles getting promoted to pole with Max's penalty, and Carlos not too far away so maybe there is some hope of decent points if the weather allows them to keep the cars on track. Great effort from both drivers but now we have to face Sprint quali and race, with wet conditions always a probability. Forza ragazzi, anyway,

Guys I'm sick and tired of watching Verstappen win.

    So best case scenario for us;

    Heavy Rain
    More Rain
    Much More Rain
    2 Laps behind Safety Car
    And win.
