Charles is also not entirely blameless. Drivers like Alonso or Max would've straightened out Xavi a long time ago. They would've criticized his incompetence on the team radio and demanded change publicly. But Charles is too mellow.

Frankly speaking, I don't think Charles has the mentality of a WDC. Look at Max, even when he is driving for one of the best team in F1 history, he still gets pissy on the radio. Simply cause Max wants perfection from his team. Charles on the other hand does nothing. Even Sainz calls out Ferrari's brain dead strategy time and time out on the radio but we hardly hear anything similar from Charles.

But at the end of the day it doesn't matter. A team like current Ferrari simply can't beat a team like current Red Bull. Comparing Ferrari with Red Bull is like comparing an analogue machine with an advanced AI. The current Red Bull team is way ahead of Ferrari in every department.

R Bradly; I believe Charles getting paid double Carlos' salary has a lot to do with Charles staying quiet . Also so many fans here say the Ferrari cars are worthless this season; BUT !!... Ferrari has the only win against R Bull so far this year. Is it because Carlos is that great regardless of the car being worthless? Let it be Charles winning another Ferrari race!!!

Charles is having an annus horribilis and nothing he does helps. I don't think salary has anything to do with it. He needs to adopt a Carlos attitude and ignore the pit wall when he thinks they have got it wrong.
