A little bit more luck with the safety cars and we could have won here

Incredible performance from Charles. SC screwed us up yet again, otherwise it was his win.

Ferrari needs to build next year's car around him. He is the only one capable of going head-head against Max.

True but Ferrari would win this race if not for 3 RB free pit stops

Charles has to be the unluckiest driver in the history of F1... But awesome drive from him.

Only noticed Russel got a penalty and Carlos also outscored both Mercs

There was nothing wrong with the strategy. That SC was rather unnecessary. Charles, yet again, got unlucky with it.

Yea, the strategy was actually great.Without the SC I bet it would have been an "easy" win for Charles. He had 5 laps fresher tyres than Max, Checo still needed to pit and he was only 10 seconds ahead... it all looked good. Then came the luck again.

I think Schumacher used to have bad luck too in the late 1990s with SF . I hope this will be the case with Charles , hope that the trip to Lourdes will cure that

    What a race…!! Fantastic.
Without SC .. leclerc would have won.

But that pass on Perez at last lap truly epic stuff.

Leclerc deserved the win. We did nothing wrong in terms of strategy, we was quicker at the end of the first stint. Right call to stay out and extend the stint. Perez comfortably behind we knew he had to stop again and Max was in traffic. Safety car screws us as we had not long stoppeds. Perez was 15 seconds ahead at the time so we would of still ended up behind him. I think Max comes through the pack anyway even if we stop again.

Anyone taking cheapshots at strategy today must be a troll

You left out Carlos! The only driver to win a race out of R Bull. He also has more points even after getting moved to 12 th position he managed a good finish. Building the next years car around him will get Ferrari in the #1 spot for sure.Had Carlos started the race in 2nd place and not robbed of the spot; and moved to 12 th ; he would have won his 2nd race this year for him and Ferrari! Head-head against Max and he got the only non R Bull win!! Ferrari has great drivers ! Forget the SC ; screw up; Carlos got screwed before the race even started!

So close to a win for Charles but as usual the SCs played against him but what a drive and that pass on Checo on the final lap was epic. Not convinced about Vegas but it was a tight race and the drivers and teams must be completely exhausted. DOTD too, for Charles, quite rightly.

Choose track position on a track with a HUGE straight and we have a good top speed.

Typical Ferrari Clown strategy to make sure that Charles doesn't win AGAIN.

Carlos goes 2, to 12, to 6th ! nothing to do with him causing it. He for sure was podium bound. Either driver will do, Ferrari needs this last race! Send Vasseur out on roller skates to check the track! It's right up there with Masi getting Max the win over Lewis getting his 8th.

    Exactly.
Maybe this will make the doubters stop finally
Charles only needs a car that actually works, so he does not need to overdrive it in order to deliver. Then we see wonderful things from him.

Telemetry analysis of Charles' phenomenal overtaking move on Perez on the last lap in Las Vegas shows the Ferrari driver felt almost 7G in braking deceleration force (against Perez's 4.1)

Jolyon Palmer had both telemetries different-->

    Perez was 1.5g's under braking.

Leclerc was over 5g's under braking.

It was one of the best overtakes of the season.

Leclerc did the same move on lap35 but was closer to Perez for the overtake. This last lap overtake, Leclerc was further behind and managed to make it stick. Impressive.
