Ferrari still doesn't know how to add downforce without incurring bouncing in corners. So I don't think it would be an easy fix.
The only place where Ferrari had the fastest package was Monaco, but that was a unique track with unique aero and mechanical configuration, everywhere else they were either 2nd or 3rd fastest.
And right now, they are the 4th fastest team.

so we're good at tracks with HIGH DOWNFORCE and NO straights, NO high speed corners.....so yeah that sums it up we're NOT gonna win another race this year

i'll be curious if the car that's in the windtunnel now for 2025 indeed has front pull rod and rear push rod

maybe that's our only saviour to be competitive in 2025....Macca has the same suspenion as red bull and look at them now, they're fighting for wins at every track since their major upgrade at Imola

    Found this info.

For the Spa-Francochamps race, a circuit with medium-low downforce requirements, Ferrari has opted to “unload” the SF-24. Starting from the rear, the car features a new medium-low downforce wing, a specification that was intended to debut in Jeddah but never materialized. Compared to the 2023 specification, which was introduced at Spa-Francochamps, the new wing has several differences. Most notably, the mainplane has a slightly more pronounced camber to maintain downforce in the middle of the track.
In the elbow area, Ferrari has introduced a new, narrower geometry. This design collects less air but accelerates its flow to increase efficiency. This modification is complemented by a new cut in the upper flap, which creates a vortex to improve airflow extraction from beneath the mainplane. Moving to the mobile flap, Ferrari has chosen a specification similar to the 2023 model.

Just behind the DRS activation system, there is a cut in the trailing edge to seek additional efficiency from the wing. To preserve even the smallest portion of aerodynamic load, Ferrari has retained a small nolder along the entire length of the trailing edge.

By reducing the rear downforce, Scuderia Ferrari has balanced the car by cutting a small portion of the last flap on the front wing. This, along with reduced downforce, allows the SF-24 single-seater to gain points in efficiency and forward resistance—important factors at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit where efficiency is key

i read on uno that it really wasn't anything major, just the track specific rear wing like you said, and more modifications of the floor to continue the path of correcting the bouncing like in Hungary

but maybe what you said are indeed the further optimizations to help cure the bouncing

regardless of how this year finishes, i think we have a huge silver bullet of performance by adopting that suspension

i just think we need to finish in 4th to make use of it because we're starting with an unknown, and we clearly don't have optimal correlation otherwise we wouldn't have produced an update that made the car worse

There will be two triple headers when the races resume in Oct. ; so there had to be another break! The drivers need a rest! Million dollar pays are not enough.

It's the same 'ol story come mid-season isn't it? It's a broken record time and time and time again. You sound surprised?

nope, not sounding surprised at all, but for once i thought the team under Fred would do something different and work hard in the past two weeks and surprise us tifosi....but NO, same loser team and mentality year in, year out...

Even RB knows now they are going in the wrong direction.

If they can do it no shame in if Ferrari does it, since you got 50% chance to do it right.

Ships happens and it's more important to learn from those mistakes in the future.

exactly my thoughts on this.....Ferrari has been a "lost puppy" since 2009 when ALL UNLIMITED TRACK TESTING was cut off

they cannot come to grips 100% with ONLY using tools like CFD and wind tunnel.....one day maybe they'll get to grips, in the year 2160....LOLOLOL

Hope you are having a good time in Sarti Stefa. As for Monza we can only hope and pray that the upgrades they bring will WORK for a change.

From the inside and outside I just get this feeling that we are lost but of course internally nobody will admit this. Second half of last season filled me with the hope that we finally turned a corner with mid season development but alas it seems we've returned to our old ways. The update earlier in the season didn't work, it's been a write off since. I'm worried the platform we have can't take us any further and thus hinder us for the rest of this season and next before the changes In 2026. Once again I find myself looking to a reg change in the hope Ferrari might find something over the others. It's tiring.

It is fantastic. This is my 3rd time, and already booked for 2025.
As for Monza, I know I will have great time. After all it is Monza. It would be great if Ferrari would be in position to fight for pole, win...
