    Hope it’s not due to being hard headed and keeping pull rod at the rear when everyone up and down the pit lane has push rod

    For once, I’d like Ferrari to be quick right out of the box and be fast in all sessions/conditions. A fast car is a fast car…

    It’s still early like I said, plenty of teams climbing the board. Let’s see where we stand come Q3.

    Leclerc.399 down on P1, but on the medium tire. Ferrari haven’t done a soft run yet, probably won’t in this session.

    First time seeing the car from the onboard and the turn in looks exceptional, the SF23 looked so much cumbersome compared to this.

    A lot to come from Ferrari. S1 and 3 all about engine power mostly and this is where Ferrari is slow compared to the others right now, but Charles is 2nd fastest in the S2 and only slower than Norris who was on softs.

    I hope we didn't plan to do a quick lap this session but just for testing and adjusting

    This session doesn’t represent the conditions for race and qualifying, so I doubt any of the big teams (Ferrari, Merc RedBull) will do a soft run.

    Based on those laps I don't think we're slower than RBR, both Sainz and Leclerc were consistently doing 1'37.5 ~ 1'37.7 multiple laps in the end

    So far it looks close. Like really really close. That would be fantastic.

    My main concern now is that if we're so bad in qualifying then we will stuck in DRS train or dirty air so let's hope we'll up the game in FP2 FP3

    What makes me happy is that the car is following Charles's command and going wherever it was being pointed at. Understeer in medium and high speed corners is non-existent. There are some understeer in slow speed but that's nothing to be worried about.

    My.main concern is race pace and tire degradation on ANY compound.

    Ferrari FP1: Ferrari focused on the mids in a high fuel load configuration
    @FUnoAT
    .

    Lap times with the mids look good. Ferrari confirms that it has clear ideas. The team has a solid foundation to build on with the SF-24.

    That was so close , perhaps why Verstappen is not happy about it . This year RB20 won't dominate much like last year

    Well we will see the patern over 1st 4 races. Thisbtace is a bit of an outlier as last year Ferrari were best of the rest here and challengingbwith Perez for 2nd but didnt repeat that performance level until much later in the year. 2019 the 1st half of the year this was the only race they were really good at. Hopeing will be very competitve here but really want to see where we stand afyer Suzuka race 4. By then would have had tracks with various types of corners, surfaces and temperatutes.
