I hope that we aren't on the wrong hype train...
Some good information : Currently we're only behind Verstappen around 0.2 0.3 with same Medium compound
Leclerc.399 down on P1, but on the medium tire. Ferrari haven’t done a soft run yet, probably won’t in this session.
~FORZA FERRARI~
First time seeing the car from the onboard and the turn in looks exceptional, the SF23 looked so much cumbersome compared to this.
A lot to come from Ferrari. S1 and 3 all about engine power mostly and this is where Ferrari is slow compared to the others right now, but Charles is 2nd fastest in the S2 and only slower than Norris who was on softs.
Nice view for people who don't have access to video

Race pace
Both Max and Perez - medium: low 1'38s - high 1'37s
Both Ham and Russell - medium: low - mid 1'38s
Both Leclerc and Sainz - medium: low 1'38s - high 1'37s (Sainz just did a 1'37.2s)
Lando - soft: mid 1'37s
Piastri - medium (oldest tyres): mid -1'38s
Anyone have any good free links for FP2?
Thanks
So far it looks close. Like really really close. That would be fantastic.

Interesting bit: Ferrari 288, Red Bull 290 and Mercedes 293 at the end of the main straight during the long runs.
It's not how start but how you finish.
What makes me happy is that the car is following Charles's command and going wherever it was being pointed at. Understeer in medium and high speed corners is non-existent. There are some understeer in slow speed but that's nothing to be worried about.
Ferrari FP1: Ferrari focused on the mids in a high fuel load configuration
@FUnoAT
.
Lap times with the mids look good. Ferrari confirms that it has clear ideas. The team has a solid foundation to build on with the SF-24.
Look like a dream team is coming
Well we will see the patern over 1st 4 races. Thisbtace is a bit of an outlier as last year Ferrari were best of the rest here and challengingbwith Perez for 2nd but didnt repeat that performance level until much later in the year. 2019 the 1st half of the year this was the only race they were really good at. Hopeing will be very competitve here but really want to see where we stand afyer Suzuka race 4. By then would have had tracks with various types of corners, surfaces and temperatutes.
