Long runs pace is basically the same between both Red Bull, both Mercedes, both McLaren, Alonso and us, basically everyone in the top teams is doing mid - high 1'36s

so that means we cannot afford to have slow pit times this more than ever.....a second slower in teh pits could cost you positions bit time on track

I am watching the race pace and ours don't seem like anything special so far. It's kinda close between Merc, Bulls, McLaren, Aston and Ferrari, but we look like a tail of that group. If we aren't running more detuned engines than others in practice, we may have a problem.

Everyone is now doing low 1'37s and Max is the only one in the 1'36s, he literally has no deg

well it seems a few teams (Merc to name one) did a LOT of sandbagging in winter tests......we may have a BIT of work to do to not only catch up but surpass them

you have waited the entire winter, let's wait till at least one full race weekend before making these remarks, not to mention things might still change from track to track

I hate to remind you but Haas were outracing us a few seasons ago, so I wouldn't be too quick to see their performance as an indication of our potential.

Our tyres deg seems good, Sainz did a 37.0 in the last lap
But Max did a 36.6 in his 16 laps old tyres...

Lol that's like saying we'll see who the champion is after 24 races. Why are we here then? We're here because we want to know who is quick now, and in the next race, and the next. A lot can change throughout the season but we're here for all of it.

Clearly we're not clear 2nd force as expected . My feeling is not good at the moment too , so not too much optimism

i get what you're saying, but because of different races at different tracks will show how the top teams will compare to each other....so in other words we'll knwo where WE stand compared to other like merc, red bull, AM....etc

*Mercedes powered cars looking very strong. Mercedes particularly very strong in the first and third sector.
*Perez & Piastri looked the fastest over the long run. Max & Charles most consistent.
*Charles didn't get a clean on his 2nd C3 tyre run. Did his best time of the on his 3rd attempt and had traffic. So more to come from him.
*Haas very strong and only 0.5 seconds slower than the Merc. Their long run pace was good as well.

Newey and Max both don't happy with the car today . Definitely something is wrong with RB20 . W15 spark a lot when doing quick lap . SF24 i'm just worrying about quali pace at the moment .

I'm not. I have zero worry about our pace, both long and short. Right now, I'm only putting Max-Red Bull ahead of us, but they didn't look that strong today as they did during the testing.

S1 and S3 where Mercs are faster are power sectors. I don't believe Merc is quicker from us especially when we have the most powerful PU and of the best top speeds on the field.

Lets wait for the telemetries to see there is an indication of lower PU mode by Ferrari.

I may be wrong of course but i hope im not
