    2024 EMILIA-ROMAGNA Grand Prix - Practice & Qualifying Thread

Friends it is Friday, another race weekend. I now I don't speak only in my name, when I say we all expect a great result.
I was not able to travel to Imola, friends of mine are there.

We HAVE TO HAVE great expectations. McLaren is getting better by each and every upgrade, Red Bull will not be sleeping and we are in a decent place pointwise... no way we will go backwards this year. We are winning this.

    Team Upgrades

    RedBull brought 6 upgrades
    Mercedes 5 upgrades
    Ferrari 7 upgrades
    Mclaren 2 upgrades
    Aston 9 upgrades

    Weather forecast:

Weather forecast for the Imola shows dry and sunny Friday and Saturday.

Increased risk of showers on Sunday - currently stands at 40% chance during the race.

    Also:

Verstappen will not only compete in the Emilia Romagna GP, but also the a 24 Hour iRacing race, and told de Telegraaf: "4 of us will alternate at the wheel, I will do two stints between two and four hours."

Max has done this for several races now where he does iRacing before the actual race and sleeps very little.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Charles is happy with the car. He was the fastest on the long runs by a big margin.

Was Sainz lap time up there with Leclerc too ? If so then I think we should aim a 1-2 this week

The balance looks pretty much perfect. Very pointy but with much more stable rear end. The traction prowess of the F1-75 is back.

Also, Bozzi is a boss. So much more coherent and concise than Xavi ever was.

Perez blocked Charles, but Charles had his elbows out and overtook him quite aggressively
