So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Please good launch tomorrow and no surprise rain!

Epic lap as per usual from Charles around that place. Those 1.5 tenths were all him. Nothing in between in terms of the car performance between the Ferrari and the McLaren today.

This lap is faster than his 2021 pole lap as well. What a mighty effort. Great job Charles, great job SF24 2.0, great job Bozzi, great job everyone.

    50% job is done.

Charles need to have a good launch at the start tomorrow. Thats it. He can control the pace.

Ferrari strategy team should be alert as there is always high chance of SC here.

Sainz to P2 would give ideal buffer for Charles tomorrow. Hence both cars needs good launch tomorrow.

I don't want to jinx it (again), but in F1 Ive noticed in previous years that I'm kind of jinxed in my thoughts through the weekend. So I started to be more pessimistic and allow a sudden, POLEEEE!!!!!!!
That's what I like to see. Lec lowering times lap bu lap !!!!
That's 60% of the race win. Another 20+% a good start and he has the win !!!!
( Whoops is it good to say it ???!!!)

Since 1988, it's an 80% win in the race IF you're P1 on pole here at Monaco.

I’m more concerned about McLaren now. They are quite a threat going ahead at next races.
S1 is still a concern for Ferrari. Not sure is there any chance to overcome it.

As Fred said, Silverstone package is the one they are aiming at which would overcome the weakness of SF-24. Let’s hope for the best.

For me it’s 50% because it is Ferrari, you know anything can happen with Pitstops + strategy.

I still remember 2022, how dominant leclerc was but the team let him down. Irony is that, Mattia Binotto defended the strategy. Pathetic.

Another great day's work from Charles.
I don't like Piastri directly behind him would have preferred Carlos.
    Tomorrow fingers crossed.

I hope Sainz doesn't lose his 3rd place after visit to the stewards.

Potential 3 place grid penalty for Sainz, looks like a slam dunk one
Charles will have to 1 vs 2 McLaren tomorrow

Ferrari looked good in practice yesterday and now they have got Q1 and Q3. So far so good in Monaco. Things are looking good for Leclerc to get his first home win tomorrow.

holy crap nice one! From both drivers, but daaaamn 1:10.2 is monstrous. And as a cherry on top, Perez is over and Verstappen (or today Crashstappen again) cracked under pressure and is down in the midfield. Aaaaaaand Czech Republic won with Sweden and will play finals in ice hockey world championship. What a day :)) Thank you Ferrari

No grid penalty for Carlos, as expected. This is Monaco and he got out of the way of Albon as fast as he could. Good to see some common sense from the stewards.

Good for us now. All we need a good launch from both drivers & get 1-2 done. This is our best chance again to trim the WCC & WDC lead.

Considering what happened to Charles last year I'm shocked the stewards have now apparently realised what the confines of Monaco look like. Fair play to them I guess although BS penalties like Vettel in Austria 2018 where they literally said the driver had no chance to avoid it and lost a guaranteed win still stings. 10 extra points for Vettel that race and you'd never know what 2018 would've looked like.

DRS breach for Haas in... Monaco?

What exactly were they thinking pushing the boundaries there. This is not Spa or Interlagos!

Sainz will not be penalized and retains his P3.
