Mega lap from Charles. Nearly 6 tenths up on Norris. Pole possible this weekend?

It's early days but we are looking good. Charles has gone for medium tyres while those around him are on softs!!

Definitely early days..but we are only .228 down while on the medium. So it looks promising, let’s hope it carries over in to Q3!

Blast Charles picks up debris from Zhou's car in the floor area. The mechanics are busy fixing it. Let's hope it's not too serious. It's all he needed.

Nope, floor was ok and he was laying down rubbers in the pitlane and did the practice race start just fine.

Charles-SF24 was the fastest package in FP1. Had the pace and was flying on both hards and mediums tyres.

The balance looked great and the car looked compliant to the demands Charles was asking from it. Early days and it is Monaco, but looking really good.

reports that charles’ car is not at 100%: they couldn’t repair fully the damage done by the debris, one part in particular.

but also, nothing major! they will repair it, not this session

He did the fastest S1 just after setting his PB on the mediums, he had traffic in the 2nd sector so backed off on that lap, which could've been easily P1. Then Red Flag came and after that didn't bother with fast laps.

Hopefully they can fully repair the damaged part of the floor before FP2. The Mercs and Mclarens are looking good here and of course you can never rule out RB even when they are slow on a Friday.

So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

do you blame him for that??? he's been trying for teh past 3 years or more to win Monaco, his HOME GP....but through bad luck he's missed getting this win

hopefully all will change this year and finally be on that top step and make everyone proud

We saw the glimpse of his raw speed in 2022, when he had a car just like this one, plenty of downforce and a good front end. The upgrades Ferrari brought in the last race moved the car more to Charles's preference.

Let’s hope Charles can put the lap together when it counts and get Pole! Hopefully his new engineer and Ferrari will give him the perfect strategy and opportunity to win.

With any luck, Carlos can come P2 and we can dictate the race/strategy.

    Forza Ferrari!!!
