    Till now not looking good.
RedBull/ McL and Merc are always setting purple sector and top times and we are strangling to be on the top 10.
    Just righting what I see.

yup, team took it easy in the last two weeks, relaxing, eating pasta and drinking wine
while others worked really hard to bring valuable upgrades

what else is new, losing team with losing mentality

Gearbox issue for Sainz. Won't be continuing FP2 with 30min left.

Unfortunately it looks like that the Vasseur saga is nothing better then the previous bad- mediocre 15 years.
Don't know what he (or they in general the top men of Ferrari) has in his mind, but to me it looks like whoever comes to the team suddenly he overwhelmed by his ego and making but decision just to protect or make stronger his position. What happens to Ferrari really baffles me.
Vasseur came and we heard about a huge overhaul of the team with lots of new people. And till now we have Hamilton, Serra and some 2nd/3d class engineers from RedBull.
Don't know what will happen and for sure I hope that he will surprise us , but on paper we doesn't look good .

I think it takes time to change the mentality of an organization such as Ferrari.......... Vasseur has said that is one of his objectives.

Magnussen & Tsunoda in front of Charles. I hope his car is better than his 9th position would indicate. Hopefully he was experimenting!!!!!!!!!

With no real updates that work, that’s all he can do experiment with different setups in hopes that he can find a set up that give better performance.

I’m not getting any hopes up, we’re probably the 4th fastest team still

The problem is that I that time a lot have changed in F1 and then we are always trying to catch up.
I'm this last 15 years it's the same scenario. When a new TP comes he says he needs time (OK I understand it 100% ) but then the results are exactly the same as his predosector. And another thing is that ,if you compare the Vasseur plan/ vision and Strolls (Aston Martin) you see Stroll making whatever it takes and throwing tones of money to bring the best of the best so he makes a super team.
We are looking to just figure out how to work or to play music chairs to see who takes witch place.
So another 2-3-4 years will pass with mediocre results ,and another TP will come.
I say again ,I don't know what will happen but what I see is top engineers to deny to come to us and I wonder why is that ?? Thing that we never know what truly happened. But if for example you close the door to Newey (as the rumors say) because they (Vasseur?, Vigna?) where afraid that he would take power from their hands, and thay counterweight hom with an internal promotion or a 2nd class name from another team , we'll it's not like reading all this we looking the future with hope. And on the other hand we read Stroll say to Newey " come and do whatever you want to built a super tream"

The reality and most certian thing is that WE ARE the 4th best team and probably with a margin from the top 3. Anything better would be a huge surprise from us (what we all hope)

As expected. The 4th best team, barely faster than Haas and Aston.

As a Formula 1 fan, this is going to be an exciting race, having 3 teams battling for the pole and the win.

    As a Ferrari fan, depressing.

super depressing, and most likely for the rest of the season....as i can't see Ferrari making BIG strides in teh second half, they NEVER have in the past so why would this second half be different.

i've have covid twice, once in 2020 (the very first type, that was horrible), and then i had it again in 2022, but a very mild version

hope you will feel better soon.....try and drink lots of water and plenty of rest.

Basically it was a good car in the first quarter of the season. The upgrades brought to Canada were a failure which has put the team on the back foot.
We await the first of the new upgrades at Monza.....software upgrade for the PU I believe. Then aero upgrades for Baku & Singapore.
    We may be pleasantly surprised.
