Front wing upgrade has transformed the season for Mercedes. Hopefully it will do the same for us as well. Car looking hooked up but it is very early days.

It appears we will finish this practice in the dry. Not a bad start for Ferrari pleasing all the fans here (well nearly all)

Has anyone watch our (small) race pace??
    And compare to the others?
I know it doesnt matter so much here, nevertheless it's good to be fast in race pace too.

Charles was fastest of the lot on hards by a good margin. Norris was faster overall by a tenth or two but he was on mediums.

It's the night time sessions that really show where we are so all eyes on FP2!
Only Charles, Lando & Carlos made it into 1.31s. We will see what FP2 shows.

Mclaren have to modify their flexible rear wing and "mini DRS" as requested by the FIA.
It's not how start but how you finish.

We only have FP1 and it was an excellent session for the two Ferrari drivers but I expect the times to be faster in FP2.

Saw that NEW Ferrari front wing and it's definitely a "Mclaren-esque" front wing where it flexes when loaded(as speed increases)

Charles has the fastest first and middle sectors, with Norris only quickest through the final sector.
