You really believe red bull just lost that much pace? The went from 1st place garanteed to maybe top 5. Something was weird there. We will never know what happend but something was happening...

Edit: dont drink and post. Wanted to reply to the brake cheating post.

Our future driver Hamilton is out of Q1. Meanwhile, Russell advances into Q2.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Phew that was a relief to get both cars through to Q3. I was getting worried.
Gasly is going well and Haas are pretty solid here.

Once again we can not fire up the tyres enough

Too slow in sector 1 and early part of sector 2

Did we managed to set an S1 time on the last run???
We clearly can't heat the tires here but this looks good for the race. But nothing is guaranteed.
Hate to see Norris on pole

Sainz last run was there for P2 until George messed it up.

There’s huge turn around for F1 in US. I am surprised to see such passion towards F1 in US.

There was Auto expo after the Sprint qualifying yesterday & Today.

It was very hot outside, thought these conditions would suit Ferrari car. Unfortunately their issues on Red Soft tyres still persist. But it bodes well in the race.

I am not sure whether can challenge Max on pure pace.

I was there at the track for Sprint Race, Norris McLaren were struggling on those mediums around Lap 10 onwards.

When you say Sai was for P2 ,what do you mean? How many sector's did he complete and what was his times? He was faster then Norris??
    And Lec was slower??
Sorry for the many questions but don't have live timing

It’s compared to Max last Run.
Norris didn’t improve his S1, Sainz Improved, Leclerc I am not sure whether he finished S1 by that time.

We can’t fire up the tires in S1 due to front push rod suspension
Look at red bull and McLaren, they have no such problem. On the pace from first corner
If the rumors are true, and we are switching to front pull rod, then it may be a different story for next year…..is just that we’ll play catch up, as red bull had it since ‘22 and McLaren also had it for a while

Time we’ll tell if we’ll be among the best next year

Maybe Charles’s car is set up more towards the race, so he’ll have better tire wear….we’ll see tomorrow

What I observed in this season is

    1. Ferrari struggle on Red Soft tyres in quali
    2. Leclerc is setting up his car more towards the race opposite to Sainz
    3. Leclerc introduction of the tyres is slow & want to benefit end of the stint.

Hopefully next season Ferrari close the quali weakness.

Sainz whenever he see Leclerc infront or behind him … he gets agressive either in defending or attacking.
It reminded me of Austria 2022 sprint race.

After watching a re-run of the Sprint race I can only conclude that Sainz is very aggressive when he sees Charles in front. That scrap between them, which lasted for at least half of the race, could have ended in disaster. I think they both lost time and could have secured 2,3 for the team.
I hope we don't see a rematch between the pair of them during the race.
