He was multiple car lenghts away before the virtual safety car came up but was besides piastri's rear wheels on right before the restart. This could not have been a more clear cut penalty. Really sad that people are thinking this when it was Max that lucked out on his first championship.
I think I spotted the Hamilton fan Surprised you don’t have #AD21#neverforget in your signature.

I’m not defending Verstappen or his driving style. I’m calling the facts, and the facts are as clear as day for everyone to see. The FIA is doing everything in its power to make sure we have a “fight” until the last race. Also doing all they can to manufacture a McLaren/Norris championship. The timing of the VSC today was suspicious and embarrassing.

Like when they banned the McLaren rear wing? Or the Norris penalty in Austin?

Vasseur (Ferrari): "we might have to wake up a little earlier tomorrow morning..."

Possibility of Quali on Sunday morning.

There is another storm brewing in the paddock. Red Bull suspects McLaren and a few other teams of filling water into the tyres to prevent them from overheating during the race. We've got the whole story.

mentioned that the FIA already investigated the matter in Mexico & Austin and told Pirelli to inform them about any irregularities in this matter.
@AMus: Pirelli says there was not a single suspicious incident this year.

So people in the paddock think that it's big noise about nothing.

Allegedly Red Bull used to experiement with this trick (filling water in tyres) in the past (when it wasn't declared illegal yet) and suspects former employees that went to other teams are using the trick in a better form.

If true that would probably mean McLaren DQ for the season.

Lol what are you talking about. I was happy for Hamiltons dominance coming to an end in that year, but I'm not going to pretend as if it was a fair victory for Max. I just don't believe we should see the FIA's incompetence as them helping Mclaren or trying to give us a show or working against Max because a Britt has a chance to win the championship. What you're calling a fact is an opinion and you are entitled to that opinion.

Don't see the reason of having wet tiers, when there is no racing when wet

Wet races are some of the best races I've ever seen but the FIA/Stewards are determined to stamp out full wet races. it's a massive shame

Honestly though, what's the point of having those intermediate and wet tires if they never use them.

What the delay? Looking at it now, i've seen them out in far worse conditions. Is this going to be cancellled to gift the front row to McLaren?

You know what, I thought about it too, incase norris ends up bottling his car so they are making sure that it won't come to that.

The reason they did not allow the cars on track is simple. It's not all about the tires, but the biggest problem is that these are groundeffect cars. They will suck up the water from the track, but because the amount of water differs a lot from one place to another. the groundeffect and thus the downforce too will fluctuate enormously. This means a car can react very irretacly and even can loose grip completely in a moment. Also the groundeffect will give an enormous amount of spray.

Yup I agree. They have taken such decision specific to the track.
