    The bumping on Leclerc's onboard looks pretty bad

    Different to the previous practice, we're kind of slow here. Not sure if we're sandbag or we're struggling with pace

    Since 2022 we have been fairly mid here, not even the 2nd fastest team either in 2022 or 2023

    The SF24 does not like sector 2

    Norris
    18.046
    36.194
    16.305
    1:10.610

    Leclerc
    18.210 => +0.164s
    36.459 => +0.265s
    16.238 => -0.067s
    1:11.038 => +0.428s
    We lost the whole 4 tenths in first 2 sectors

    Missed FP1. I gather from the timings that each team has a different agenda re fuel load etc
    I'm hoping we were trying out a heavier fuel load than those around us

    Well lets see. Race pace from FP1 seems good though:

    Leclerc 1:13.5 (20 lap mediums)
    Verstappen 1:14:4 (23 lap mediums)
    Norris 1:14:7 (21 lap mediums)

    Is it new? Ferrari SF-24 suffers on Soft tyres single lap. We’ve seen all through out the season.
    Either tyres aren’t ready for S1 or they overheat them in the final sector. Thats the challenge which cannot be overcome for this season & Ferrari said will try to address with better warm up laps or next season with new new design.

    I read somewhere , that we did a sprint sim , while others did race sim. Hence the difference

    In this track with colder temperatures, highlight our problem to prepare the tires in a fast lap on low fuel. IF we managed to qualify in the top 5 would be fantastic

    Sprint qualifying so all must use only 1 set of mediums in Q1

    So it looks like McL has clearly the upper hand here. At least to finish right behind them so we dont lose a lot of points for the championship
