2024 Qatar Grand Prix- Practice, Sprint & Qualifying

So, boys and gals, what are we expecting from this weekend in terms of Ferrari performance?
Looking at the results we've had last year and how Mclaren has performed, it will be interesting if we can manage to outscore them this weekend, both in the sprint race as well as the Race on sunday.
Some changes have also been made to the track, so hopefully that'll make us perform a little better.

i mean, we we did have a mediocre car last year in terms of performance in high speed corners ( as that used to be our achilles heel last year), but ever since our floor update in Monza we've been pretty good in high speed corners as we've seen our performance in Austin.

so here's hoping that both our drivers work together, perfect strategies, pit stops....etc so we can maybe beat mclaren points wise this weekend as well as Merc and red bull

    FORZA FERRARI!!!!!!

So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.

The one thing that everyone would be looking forward to is the WDC. Will we see McLaren clinch the Championship this Sunday or will this race go down to the wire? I think Ferrari will close the gap even further and we will see this battle ending in Abu Dhabi in the final race of this season. Apart from the WCC fight, there is plenty to look forward to for fans who are heading to the Lusail Circuit this weekend with some big names performing during the weekend including Maroon 5. Apart from the music performances, there will be many fan zones, and exhibitions for the fans to keep them entertained when nothing will be happening on track. This guide has all the information about the events, and activities happening in and around the circuit during the race weekend.

Difficult weekend for us given car behaviour & track characteristics.

If somehow Ferrari finishes ahead of McLaren at this track, it mean Ferrari made lot of progress & bode well for next season.

Car behavior will be up to Carlos and Charles fighting it out big time ! A 1 2 by ether driver 1 2 will be just great for Ferrari WCC.

Ferrari-Leclerc will try experimental floor in Qatar which was driven by Sainz in Las Vegas. If the feeling is positive (already confirmed by Sainz) will go on to the quali & race.

Looks promising, we need Mercs & Verstappen between us and Mclarens.

Perez will be lucky if he still hods on to Redbull seat for 2025

Looking good so far. I hope the pace remains the same through out the weekend.

Ferrari running on hards (which might be the race tyre) in FP1, keeps me thinking they are planning for 1 stopper.

yeah, i'm kind of thinking teh same thing.....would it be a bit risky from others that plan on 2 stopper??? time will tell as the pit late time loss is pretty big here if you were to do another stop

if we get track position and nurse the medium tire for a bit longer, then put on teh hards, we could theoretically do aim for a ONE stopper

Ferrari did scrub their new Mediums set … similar to Aston. That’s interesting.
