Button and Kravitz woke up and started smiling again now that Norris is flying. Embarrassing

I was talking about the fact he didn't overtake Gasly, but yeah somehow we got pretty lucky with Leclerc.

In all fairness, sainz did damage his front wing because of that puncture when he went over the debris
So maybe he lost some downforce points hence not able to pass the alpine

You say that as it would be an easy thing to do. Our car was just not fast enough this weekend and we should be very happy with Charles in 2nd. Carlos also got very unlucky with the puncture. Carlos needed the Mclaren to overtake Gasly or be Verstappen.

I don't know what you all thing sainz should have done here? He did his best, look where piastri end up? He didn't take over leclerc with a fastest car under him. Sainz did all he can but unfortunately he was not able to. Maybe he had damage from the puncture. Do you all think Hamilton will be any better than him next year? I very much doubt it. For the record I don't support or favouring sainz here.

Wow, the new steward is coming down hard on any infringements, whether its minor or major. I hate McLaren, but I don't agree with the 10 seconds stop-go penalty for failing to slow down under the yellow, it seemed way too harsh.

    Charles drove brilliantly.
Carlos had some bad luck, but then he couldn't overtake Gasly. I sure he will blame on something being broken on the car, rather than his own inability to pass an Alpine. He got very close a couple of times but made mistakes.

The gap between us and McLaren is 21 points. We need luck to overcome that point deficit.

Not harsh at all, he got away with a massive safety breach in Brazil.

I'm not saying it was easy but the Alpine is one of the slowest cars. We needed these points.

He also made mistake, he almost lost the car in the final corner. And didn't lunge on the inside of Gasly when he had the chance in turn 1.
But it's not Charles, so he's not going to race hard.

True. 10 seconds stop and go is appropriate for safety car breach, but not for failing slow under the yellow.
