This was a McLaren track. But Max turned his ship around, and Russell too was very strong, until he bolted the hards.
But we need the same thing to happen in Abu Dhabi. Only this time them being behind us.

Under pressure, the McLaren guys will make mistakes.

Crafty peed himself and lost words when Norris got the 10 seconds stop and go so he forgot how to do math

For the record I don't support or favouring sainz here.
    I'm going to compare:

Leclerc vs Sainz 2024 points race for race.

Leclerc vs Hamilton 2025 points race for race.
It's not how start but how you finish.

I think the message is "safety first", hence penalty seems ok

Yes when you look at it over the whole season but the Alpine was not bad this weekend and many were suprised. We were lacking the overspeed to get passed him on the straight. The straight is the only place where you can overtake on this terrible track.

    Charles drove brilliantly.
Carlos had some bad luck, but then he couldn't overtake Gasly. I sure he will blame on something being broken on the car, rather than his own inability to pass an Alpine. He got very close a couple of times but made mistakes.

The gap between us and McLaren is 21 points. We need luck to overcome that point deficit.
Ferrari need 1-2 finish in AD & McLaren 4-5 or lower down the grid.

Norris pace on Hards last stint was super fast. I guess Ferrari went with wrong setup as they did most of Sim on Hards in FP1 yet unable to make in roads.

As I expected this Ferrari car will suffer at restarts due to Tyre temp issue + S1 is pretty weak for Ferrari with no grip at all.

I’m sure the post race coverage on Sky will be a funeral. I can’t watch, but I would love to see the look on all of their faces as they try to make sense and cope with McLaren not winning today LOL

I think the AD track layout will be well suited for us

Hopefully track temps will be high

We need Max (and Red Bull) at his absolute best (but not better than us) to finish in front of McLaren, and maybe Mercs can cause some trouble too

Didn’t blame him, I’ve just said those were potential points finish & not scoring is even more painful.

Max Verstappen on George Russell in the post-race press conference: "I've been in the meeting room (stewards) many times, and I've never seen someone screw someone over that hard, and that for me, I lost all the respect."

If Max loses title next year at RB, I see him making a move either to Aston or Mercs.

An Aston Martin move is more likely than a Mercedes move.

it was Red Bull / Max who complained.
