Merc will be bringing upgrades... Mclaren too.. RBR as well...

So basically noone cares what they say. All that matters is what the guys at the factory do.

#Ferrari drove at #Mugello with #Giovinazzi for a test on a private track, where he tested the data correlation between the wind tunnel and the real field, to understand if there are any problems in view of the update package for #Imola

Mugello is an excellent place to test precisely what is this car's weaknesses. Even if this is just an tpc test.

Ferrari is developing a new floor and slimmer sidepods to expand the ride height window, enhance heat management, and improve grip on soft tyres for stronger qualifying runs. The update may be pushed to the Spanish GP to align with new FIA flexible wing regulations.

Hopefully this could turn the tide, before it is too late.

In this last week , I keep reading so many and different expansions / scenarios about our struggles and if / when we can fix it ,that left me completely lost!!!!
One say it's structural thing and we can't solve it , the other that it's just aerodynamic and we can fix it with updates.
One say we will have the package in Imola , the other that Miami - Imola we won't have anything and we are waiting to see how things will settle after Spain with the new TD !!!
    So many different opinions!!!!

    Well,
    According to @wearetherace
Ferrari: Sources suggest Maranello will not make any significant updates at the next two races in Miami and Imola
    .
    Also According to @Auto_Racer_it
This generation of cars operates on a very fine balance. The floor pan introduced in Bahrain wasn't intended to solve problems that only surfaced on the track; development began in the winter. However, Maranello is working on these solutions, which should then unlock the famous potential, although they don't seem to be expected at Imola yet.
    Then you read this
Giampaolo Dallara warns fans that Ferrari may not catch up to McLaren in 2025, suggesting the team is already focused on the 2026 regulations

Something I do not understand is how ferrari design and build the SF 25 but fail to understand how it works or how to unlock its full potential this in itself is puzzling and questions the process.example A builder builds your new dream home you arrive at the completed and finished home in its glory then the builder doesn't know how to open the front door.

that's right! building cookie cutter duplex town home shoeboxes is completely analgous to the building one of a kind high performance race cars for the pinnacle of motorsports!

For sure but I have seen some pretty fancy computer run homes with full automation from showers that come on by sheer detection ,finger print entry etc etc.

The driver still has something to do with winning a race.

all teams have had issues bringing consistent updates, and not ever going backwards, and narrow windows with this gen of cars. even Redbull.

There is one theory in mind I 'd rather not entertain, because should it be true , it would be a mistake of gargantuan proportions..

At this point of time, I am keeping the theory to myself. I want to further evaluate things before speaking my mind on this one :)

For Ferrari, some small adjustments are scheduled for the upcoming race. A significant aerodynamic update package will be deployed later, possibly across multiple events, but a revised rear end could come after the introduction of the technical directive in the Spanish Grand Prix weekend. The technical leadership of the Italian side wants to show that the SF-25 project is not a failure and that things can change. The SF-25 can indeed do more and have a say in this Formula 1 championship
As it looks , in Miami / Imola we will have few things ( no true updates) mostly set up changes and adjustments to try and find the sweat spot .
And then after Spain we will have the major update that will be the crucial one for this season.

I'm very obviously referring to his statement.

I don't think the car concept is wrong.

Ferrari, flexible wings: the TD018 directive could be a disadvantage:

    — Ferrari is closely watching the implementation of the FIA’s TD018 directive, which will take effect at the Spanish Grand Prix. While some believe the rule targeting flexible wings could weaken rivals like McLaren and Mercedes, there is skepticism within the technical community about whether Ferrari will truly benefit.

    — Historical precedent shows that FIA directives rarely favor Ferrari. Instead, decisions by the governing body have often created additional challenges for the Scuderia, leading to doubts about claims that TD018 will bring a competitive advantage.

    — The directive is expected to restrict aeroelasticity in components such as McLaren’s rear wing, but there is confidence that teams with advanced development pipelines—especially Woking—can quickly adapt and retain performance gains.

    — Frédéric Vasseur and Charles Leclerc have both hinted that Ferrari could gain indirectly from the enforcement of TD018. Leclerc is hopeful that it may shift the balance in their favor starting from Montmeló.

    — However, one technical complication for Ferrari lies in how the SF-25 manages front ride height. TD018 may prompt teams to lower their front wings to restore aerodynamic balance, yet Ferrari’s car struggles in this configuration.

    — Lowering the SF-25’s front end increases plank wear and introduces handling instability, making it harder for the team to optimize ground effect and reduce chronic under-rotation through corners.

    — Without effective chassis updates to resolve ground clearance limitations, Ferrari may find itself disadvantaged by the very directive that was expected to help them, particularly if it destabilizes their already sensitive aerodynamic balance.

CEO Benedetto Vigna called the design “a bold new asymmetric livery.”

You sure need to be "bold" to introduce such a hideous livery. What a load of corporate BS.
