Urgency? Are you new to this "modus operandi" of this team? Didn't Ferrari's [cough] [cough] "innovation" of their brake ducts give you any indication of their forward thinking of getting heat into the rims/tires. Again, they're behind in that department. This type of mentality has been going on for years. The SF-25's front pull-rod suspension still needs tweaking when compared to Mclaren's and RedBulls front pull-rod suspension.
I doubt this TD018 changes the way things are on the grid. Completely embarrassing for MercedesAMGF1 that their customer teams is literally kicking their ***!!!
We've got a rear suspension upgrade planned for Austria but most likely in Silverstone. This is going to completely change the balance of the car and once again, Ferrari is going to play catch-up throughout the season trying to find the balance of the car while Mclaren and RedBull will be more focused on the 2026 car if they haven't already done so. IF this rear suspension upgrade from the team proves to make the SF-25 worse, I'm not going to comment anymore for the 2025 season.....it's a waste of my time trying to be optimistic.
I've gotten numb to this team. I'm not going to get worked up anymore. There's 5 points separating P2 and P4(Ferrari) in the WCC standings after 8 races in the season and the OPTIMISM of the tifosi is getting to P2 in the WCC standings....woohoo....great!! Mclaren is going to sail into the distance with a WCC P1 title and possibly either Norris or Piastri a WDC title....unless Max has a say.
It's not how start but how you finish.
It's over bar the shouting an upset maybe here and there but I do not see any derailing of the maclaren.Piastri for WDC.
there's a lot to be said about that
some of the quickest drivers perfer oversteery setups, Michael, Charles ( interestingly not Lewis, that's another story, i don't know why people thought he was going to gel with Charles' style )
but it's not that simple either. this generation of cars have inherent understeer. so completely catering to the driver may not produce the best and most driveable race car. this is my point. you have to go for a balance.

"Lewis the car is bad, we know, please drive it!" - Toto Wolff after 52 laps of constant Hamilton whining on the radio! (Austria GP, 2023)
so I was reading that Helmut Marko said Yuki is missing 1 to 2 tenths from the Imola upgrade.
I know I said earlier that suspension upgrade needs to be atleast 3 tenths. I get that number from 5mm * .05 seconds per mm of ride height.
but if red bull is getting 2 tenths from floors, we have to be able to get half a second from suspension.
now, that number Marko is giving could be wrong, it is Marko afterall.
but another way to look at it in Canada, Ferrari is bringing a new floor. It could be 3 tenths from suspension 2 tenths from floor, for half a second overall. I'd be okay with that too.
I know Hamilton said we don't have half a second coming ( which is more so what he would need to be competitive )
Leclerc isn't so far off

If the floor, somehow brings .2, or .3 seconds, I 'd be more than happy. And if it improves the car stability somehow, even better.
Then we'd have to wait for the suspension as you say. In the meantime, our drivers, will have to make do, just like they do already.
But let's face it, psychologically they need to see improvements.
"If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari" - Gilles Villeneuve
Ι think thats what subscribes the SF-25 . Its a difficult car. It has potential for sure but its very difficult to find that sweat spot to express it . So the engineers always try to find compromises . Thw best compromise till now has been foe better race pace abd that lead to struggle to pass Q2 sometimes and qualify out of P5 witch make the race more difficult.Ferrari: In an interview with the Stampa, Frédéric Vasseur tried to explain the difficulties of SF-25. The new parts are coming and it is not yet the time to think of 2026. Even if we are close to switching the resources to the new project.
- "In terms of rhythm, we are more or less to the point.
The characteristic of this car is that it suffers much more in qualifying than in the race. More pronounced than last year. In Jeddah, we were far from the pole, then we were the fastest in the race. In Imola, on Saturday, we were nowhere and the next day, we were back.
With four teams on the grid, if I want to win, I cannot afford to go in third or fourth line ".
- "A single word to describe this sensitive car? Because sometimes we manage to extract the maximum, but not always. I don't know if it's a difficult car,
I know that we have trouble putting it in the right window so that the tires work at best. The qualifying sessions of Imola and Miami, where we were the fastest with worn tires, were emblematic. I have never seen this in my life ".
- "The struggle for the title is now more difficult,
Given the advance and continuity of McLaren. We have to stay focused on ourselves, as twelve months ago, even if I never thought of the championship. I would like the team to adopt the same approach. The reaction was good, Monte-Carlo and Spain prove it. Now we need confirmation. "I can say that we have new pieces to come, it is not yet time to think only of 2026 although we are all close to having to do it".
So the big question and anticipation is not just how much performance gains we will have from the upgrades, but if/how they will transform the car to a more balanced / all around one. A car that dont goes out of the operating window in slightest chonge of the conditions and even the change of fuel weight .
IF they managed to bring this stability with the upgrades then i think the porformance wont be an issue.
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Vasseur on Leclerc:
“He is in love with Ferrari… he does not look around in search of a better seat but he is part of the project, of this family.”
