Verstappen should go to Mercedes. No Newey in Red Bull, Ford engine is a big unknown while Mercedes engine rumoured to be a good one

Even heard that it was not Toto who initiated the talks, but Max himself. What does he know?

Louis Sainz Ferrari; Max Russell Merc; Oscar Noris R Bull would make for an unbelievable season for us fans!! The FIA would have a hard time figuring who should be allowed to win !!

Sainz is good, but Leclerc is better.

Max probably knows that RBs PU is bad, if that’s the case.

amen to that IF it's actually gonna come to fruition....normally aspitated V8's sound so much better then the current v6's
of course i'd prefer the V10.....but moving away from the v6 turbos and onto the V8's it's 1000% better....

They should stop next year’s PU change.

engine manufacturers spent TOO MUCH money and resources already to develop the one;s going into 2026 for them to be stopped....they'll prolly run them for 3-4 years before the switch to V8's....IF it's gonna happen

It's too soon to stop. Manufacturers are already heavily vested on next year's PU. Manufacturers need a 3 year window in order to stop. Which is why 2028 looks to be a new formula and the introduction of the V8's....2030 is the latest to introduce the V8's.

    it's ashame

all of the back and forth and constant changes tells me there are a lot of competing interests here

hopefully Ferrari gets their voice heard

i don't agree with any direction that involves hybrid anything

Niether do I. The Toyota Prius has been in existence since 1997 and since then sales haven't really taken off. Oh, they sell but the masses prefer NA or turbocharged or diesel.

so they're saying Leclerc and Giovinazzi are testing the new suspension in Mugello next Wednesday. July 18.

But the estimate is a tenth of a second a lap.

I wouldn't have done it if that's all it delivers.

a tenth of a lap??? wow all that work and millions spent for a TENTH??? Jebus....that's a total waste if you ask me......i would have thought that the gain would be upwards of 3 to 5 tenths

maybe the team is just downplaying the actual gains it will give......they dont' wanna let mclaren know the actual gains....as in they don't wanna make them shake i their own boots....LOL

time will tell what it'll give us and how close to mclaren we'll end up
