Maybe Max gave them the option of him or Horner.

The end of a once mighty F1 dynasty.

Max will surely leave RedBull. Sign the Mercedes contract Max.

Maybe that's why Toto hasn't renewed Russell's contract. He knew this was going to happen with Horner.

Aston Martin can't afford Max in the amount of money Max is asking.

Horner leaving would not make Max leave. Quite the opposite.

I think it would. Horner leaving midseason with immediate effect means Red Bull are imploding. Why would Max stick around for that?

Sorry, let me rephrase. I don't think Max would leave because Horner is leaving, I think he will leave because RB are in a mess.

I've read about Jos trying to oust Horner. Jos doesn't have deep pockets.

Maybe it's bigger than you think. Possibly, quite possibly, it could be how Horner has directed the team within the past year. Building a car for a very talented F1 driver isn't the way to go. RedBull have replaced Perez, Lawson and now their stuck with Tsunoda and all 3 have failed within the year driving the #2 car. Mclaren has it right with both drivers achieving the same goal in a very fast cars.

    That's my 2 cents.....

    Yep

Binotto took the team from last place in 2024 with just 6pts to 6th place in 2025 in the WCC standings-->Hulkenberg owns 37pts for 2025.

Stella......what can I say.....he's proven successful thus far.

oh, 100%.....personally i would LOVE to see Christian dressed in red.....he's the best by far across the paddock at what he does and we need someone like him with BIG COHONES at steering our ship....but that is just my personal opinion, others may disagree with it.

I agree. Like you say, he is the best and he has a winning pedigree. He doesn't mince his words either. He will be a massive asset.
What are the chances Lawrence Stroll offers him silly money and he ends up with Newey again?

yeah, that is my concern also....we all know Lawrence and his BIG POKETS....and realistically, he may end up at AM along side Newey....and prolly Max as well.

the big questing mark is, is big daddy stoll ready to cut the cord on his kid???? after all he's totally useless when it comes to driving an F1 car....he was pretty decent in F2 though

Wheatley joined from a winning organization. Binotto is capable of one or two things though, making a team respectable. If that’s the goal, he is fine.

I disagree with this whole "Ferrari needs to listen to Lewis Hamilton" talking point.

Atleast when it comes to car direction.

It assumes that the reason the car is undriveable and requires Leclerc's extreme setups to extract performance is a weakness in Leclerc's car development approach.

But if you look at it as a necessity of the current generation of cars. It requires something extreme to extract performance.

Look at Max and Charles. They both can oversteer, they're the top drivers on the grid, no question.

RedBull has leaned into these "extreme setups" and car development even more so than Ferrari probably let Leclerc. ( and had a year or two head start with this extreme anti-dive philosophy )

And they have 80-90% of this forum fooled that Max is some untouchable God and RedBull is the second best car.

The only team that has somehow worked past this is McLaren, but remember they had the same thing when Riccardo couldn't get close to Lando.

    idk, food for thought.

I do trust Hamilton for a lot of other things though. Almost anything else.

So Nelson Piquet Jr. said in a Portuguese podcast that:

    1) Max and Toto are talking.
    2) We should here something about Max in August whether he switches to Mercedes.
    3) IF Max switches to Mercedes, it will be Max and Antonelli.

    I can post the translation.
