    Also, about Horner:

    1) This was a power play-->Between Redbull and it's shareholders and board and the family from Thailand. The 51% owners(Thai family member) ended up selling 2% of his shares of RedBull thereby leaving RedBull(Dieter Matesich family(son) and RedBull shareholders with 49% and the Thai family with 49%. Horner doesn't have the backing of the Thai family since their vested interest is NOW equal to RedBull hence the ousting of Horner.
It's not how start but how you finish.

IIRC the Thai family were the ones backing Horner. The 2% shares were moved to a trust in early June.

Yes, those 2% shares of the Thai family were moved in a trust on May 31'st of this year. The Thai family NOW own 49% of RedBull whom also backed Horner. The other 49% owned by the Matesich son to include RedBull board and shareholders ousted Horner because Horner doesn't have the backing or ownership of the Thai family.

Atleast when it comes to car direction.

It assumes that the reason the car is undriveable and requires Leclerc's extreme setups to extract performance is a weakness in Leclerc's car development approach.

But if you look at it as a necessity of the current generation of cars. It requires something extreme to extract performance.

Look at Max and Charles. They both can oversteer, they're the top drivers on the grid, no question.

RedBull has leaned into these "extreme setups" and car development even more so than Ferrari probably let Leclerc. ( and had a year or two head start with this extreme anti-dive philosophy )

And they have 80-90% of this forum fooled that Max is some untouchable God and RedBull is the second best car.

The only team that has somehow worked past this is McLaren, but remember they had the same thing when Riccardo couldn't get close to Lando.

    idk, food for thought.

I do trust Hamilton for a lot of other things though. Almost anything else.
    Absolutely spot on. Totally agree.
