Well McLaren has a super aggressive front suspension... maybe that's what is giving them an advantage. If there is any, we don't know yet after all.

It's more that McLarens pace look scary.
Are we for a McL dominance??
I know I know it's too early it's just when the data is against us it's heartbreaking

Verstappen should be 0.5 to 1 second quicker than Lawson, so i guess Red Bull wants to have a say as well.

it seems that the gap is much smaller than it looks :

    https://x.com/brakeboosted/status/1895176909043990971

    1) Ferrari much less aggressive energy deployment/ engine mode
    2) Derrating on the straight being consistently 5-10 km/h slower
    3) more to be found on rear end setup
    4) A big ? on the fuel load

i'm NOT too worried at the moment, afterall it is testing RIGHT??

if we see a HALF a second gap to the best come Q3 in OZ, then i'm gonna be worried

but till then, lets grab the pop corn and enjoy testing where a LOT of sandbagging is happening

Good conditions, best day of testing. I hope Ferrari utilise the time on track.

Crofty is getting cooked by this woman on sky. He’s absolutely clueless. Anyone could do his job and sound less thick doing it.

IF we end up being competitive (more if we are on top) in Australia , it will be the more sandbaged testing for Ferrari for years !!!!!!
Any time we go out in track and run similar stints with others, we almost every time the slowest.
Do we have a program to run lower pace/ high fuel in every stint????
Or we have some problems to solve?

I don't know what're Ferrari doing with the long runs but once again we're very slow

Leclerc (with a very old set of C3): high 1:36s, dropped into 1:38s

Antonelli (C3: 14 laps younger than Leclerc): 1:35s - 1:36s , caught and passed Leclerc on track

    Lando (fairly new C1): 1:34s - 1:35s

    Max (C3: 5 laps younger than Leclerc): 1:34s - 1:35s

Ferrari are playing there cards wisely.Show some hold some.Ferrari Hq have the answers and no body else.We just have to wait until lights out Melbourne Australia.so until then read all articles speculate analysis and throw our 20 cents of fans expertise into the mix of the SF 25.

This is strange. Yesterday on the exact same race sim , Lec was a bit faster and even then some said that Lec was losing top speed on the straights.
That's why I say this testing is so strange for Ferrari

yeah, you seem quite pessimistic...should we NOT wait until Q3 in Australia as well as end of the race before we can make that assumption??

Well Australia won't tell us anything, if we wait to make a conclusion than we should wait at least 5 GPs, but this test has 2023 test vibes
