Yes I must agree with that a very bad desicion by ferrari and the result was reflected.

It is called RACING.At the start Lewis started great, it charles blocked him and put him back.
When Charles over took it was due to the cars in front.
"If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari" - Gilles Villeneuve
What a great performance by our car and drivers. Charles was totally useless, being slow, unable to overtake and spinning. Lewis still not getting the car and lacking pace. Strategy like the good" old days and performance of the car? Well... I tried to believe we went with the so called "wet setup" but if that's true and we sacrificed our quali pace for a race pace which was nowhere near McLaren and Red Bull, then it's bye bye. What a fool I was to believe we are proper competitors once again. Ending behind a freaking Sauber is just devastating. Why do we Ferrari fans have to suffer for so long...

It's not how start but how you finish.
Nice pic of Mclarens front suspension arm. Very aggressive. RedBulls is similar. Ferrari's is more higher up the chassis and not as aggressive.

the ride height adjustments had nothing to do with the coming rain?
and this goes with my point earlier about Australia being a weird track.
we do have to fix whatever it is for future street tracks.
and this is also in line with issues other teams had with this suspension design.
You are comparing an era where there’s lot of differences Tyres/Engine/Regs vs current.
I am talking about Ferrari performance in Australia. Kindly note, Ferrari was fighting for WCC title in 2024 till the last race. There was a momentum to carry that into 2025 as well, which McLaren is doing it & Ferrari didn’t.
Now we say SF-25 is a new car & it takes time to understand the car. I agree to that. But when you reach to the understanding of your car either lead will be huge to chase down or you give up saying that current car has limitations & can’t be further developed.
Kindly note that 2025 car design & development was considered last year & ferrari knew 2025 is the last year of the regulations. Either they felt this is the right approach which would bring good lap time (according to Australia GP rumours, they increased the ride height which mean SF-25 setup window is limited similar to SF-24) which is not visible yet.
Lewis Hamilton who is a one of the greats on Wet track, struggled to balance the car in each & every corner.
What a bunch of panty-wetters!
One WET race, the first of the season. Yeah, we were poor but for Heaven's sake!
Trying to be less angry..
EC was SLOWER in all the last 4 corners in ⚫️Quali compared to FP2!
Ferrari's overnight changes (probably raised the car to limit plank wear) killed its downforce and balance:
-Lost 8km/h and almost 1g in T11
-Had to lift more in T12
-Lost 2km/h and 0.4g in T13
Another weird thing happened in qualifying (noted by Gabor Weber ): Ferrari switched repeatedly between low and high power modes in qualifying, something I've never seen before (and which has no logical explanation)
Ferrari's performance in the season opener left us with more questions than answers...
