    Thanks for your rating.

I see you are seeking explanation from everybody here right. Please explain why Ferrari couldn’t build a fast car? Ok leave fast car, a good car on wet track?

You’ve seen Merc/RB build fast car & now even McLaren were able to win titles who had a dry patch from long time.

    I’ll rate your post.

Ferrari's overnight changes (probably raised the car to limit plank wear) killed its downforce and balance:
    -Lost 8km/h and almost 1g in T11
-Had to lift more in T12
    -Lost 2km/h and 0.4g in T13
Another weird thing happened in qualifying (noted by Gabor Weber ): Ferrari switched repeatedly between low and high power modes in qualifying, something I've never seen before (and which has no logical explanation)🤔
Ferrari's performance in the season opener left us with more questions than answers...

There is a gearbox theory which would explain even the power modes switching. It's that they had to raise the car not due to plank wear but because the gearbox could not handle the impacts when running the car too low. And switching power modes in quali could be to give the gearbox some breathing room so it would not selfdestruct during quali or the race. I winder if we'll ever know what is really happening.

Why didn' t they figure the issue out at pre-season testing?

We know nothing sadly. It's just a theory. But if you remember, Lewis had a technical issue that prevented him from running his race sim at the last day of his testing prorgam. The theory believes it was a gearbox issue.

Few rumours suggest it’s a rear suspension issue.

Yup.. that’s the problem with F1.

Unless you have a fast car, you wouldn’t get much recognition.

Now F1 media is backing LN very much. All of a sudden he’s a competitor to Max for WDC.

Ferrari never had a consistent fast car. With last years McLaren Max/Lewis/Alonso/Leclerc would have won the championship easily.

the answer is it is fast i think, and has a higher ceiling than any other of the top 4 machines.

it's just not optimized. look at the long run data on Friday, and look at the information about raising the ride height.

keep following my posts, and you'll learn a lot.

    Right now everything is debatable.
Yes we had a very good Friday , EVERYTHING was almost perfect . The car looked solid and on rails , especially Lec could attack with almost no corrections at all. Qualy and race sim looked fantastic if not the best ,head to head with McL.
And then Saturday came and everything turned completely upside down .
Now this happened for a reason and this leads to 2 roads
If its something that can be fixed quickly and then be competitive (like fp2 show us)
and 2nd thats something that will hold us back to mediocre results for many races
Whats the truth? Do you know it ??
The only real truth right now is that we finish 8-10 with terrible pace.
If we win in China is something that we can only hope and dream.
But for sure evebody hear want this , we where waiting for this for 17 years !!!! And once again a terrible result came to bestroy our psychology.
So as you are asking / demanding from us fans to be patient with the team , you also should be patient and "excuse" some outburst of some hear. Not everybody can bear negative emotions for years . So lets all calm and even if someone say something more on his suddenness / depression , leav him be ,he will calm down in time .

Anything from the FIA to explain why F1 cars were once again sharing the track with recovery trucks?

Struggling to understand what they are thinking.

i hear what you are saying, but how else would they remove the cars in question?? and don't forget this was under the safety car and one is supposed to drive according to the speed of the safety car.

and it was a flat bed recovery truck and NOT tractor like i was in Japan when the inevitable accident of Jules happened.

so would you have red flagded the race everytime an f1 car was in the wall??

The SC had to miss the chicane due to a truck...that is not on is it.

Yes if there is recovery trucks on track it should be a red flag especially in the wet.

i agree is NOT ok, but the cars are a lot safer these days, especially with the Halos....if it saved Grojean's life going 300Km/h, i'm sure it can and could have in this scenario if something were to happen while going 60 or so km/h

    it doesn't excuse bad posts

It was obvious looking at Friday's data the car's pace was there. Use your noggin.

1st of all you are not the master here to judge what is bad post ir not , and since you are talking like this , I don't care what you consider good or bad .
I also consider that you are living in the clouds and visualize things that haven't been proved.
An FP2 performance, as good as it can be , is just an FP2 performance.
You have to saw it in qualy and race
    And there we failed 110%
So I have every right to criticize the team because they let me down as a fan for another year.
I have the right to express my sadness.
And i don't care how you feel about that simply because you don't respect me in the 1st place.
So say whatever you want, I DONT CARE!!!

right, this team is useless, just like you were absolutely right after you paniced after Canada last year, there's no way for the team to turn it around, I'm sure you're right this time too.

I'm absolutely wrong, they didn't raise the ride height.

I'm absolutely wrong, Albert Park isn't a bumpy track.

    and the pace is there!

we just had to make adjustments for reliability.

Christian Horner said after the 2022 Australian Grand Prix. I'd rather make a quick car reliable than a slow reliable car quick.

    Guys... :P

Noone liked last race, but as I said, it was just the first one.
Also while at it, like it or hate it, the car is a brand new redesign. Things like that are bound to happen.

So we need to be patient at the beginning.

As for that strategic mistake? It was a risky move that if it worked on our favor we would be ranting bout a genius move. Of course it was a really high risk move so..

But hell, 23 races left and people act as if we have one race to go. Step out of it already!

Here's a bad stat: Ferrari has scored a TOTAL of only 26 points over the last four races that have featured rain:

    Canada: 0 pts
    Great Britain: 11pts
    Brazil: 10pts
    Australia: 5pts

So it goes without saying that rain isn't Ferrari's best quality on the track as of late and quite possibly going forward.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Man... just put him into ignore list finally. These guys are ruining the discussion about everything. Nobody here as far as I know works in an F1 team, so we are just chatting, speculating, sometimes celebrating or having our temper tantrums and then these trolls come with their attitude when all they want to do is to fight with you and win over a ******** argument. I am enjoying it here soooo much more with him and jgonzalesm6 in ignore list, you can't even imagine :)
