I didn't think it was true, but it is.

    Eddie's colorful life/career seems like a life well-lived.

He's given us memories as a Team Principal, a commentator, an analyst, and so on.

    Rest in peace, Eddie.

    You'll be truly missed.

Such a shame. Eddie was a great character, we have very few left now. I knew he was sick but he sounded positive when he appeared on Coulthard’s podcast not so long back.

    RIP Eddie

Incredibly sad. I remember Jordan first starting in F1 and there are so many great memories of them. I might not have always agreed with Eddie, but I always like that he didn't 'sit on the fence' like most F1 people, he said what he thought, good or bad. RIP sir, you will be missed.

Eddie is part of my earliest F1 memories. An icon of the good ol days. Arguably, the last great privateer. End of an era. RIP.

I always classified Peter Sauber as a privateer.

as soon as I wrote this, that's the other name that came to mind lol. I actually have an Alfa Romeo Sauber Charles Leclerc hat signed by Peter Sauber.
