Wow that’s really incompetent. It was true in Melbourne we had to raise the car because of plank wear.

Would be good if we looked at this when we redesigned 99 percent of the car.

Why the hell we changed 99% of our car right before a new reg coming in ? The car that was at worst 2nd fastest car last year

    This is McLaren 2013 again

Well, let me be positive and congratulate Carlos with scoring his first point in a Williams. It's just sad he had to get it because of the disqualification of the Ferrari's and I think he will agree with that.
But he's a fine driver and he deserved that first score.

I’m holding off a bit to see if their wings get clipped a bit by the TD that will be introduced in Spain….if they’re still miles away….we and every other team are done for the season as McLaren will have it coverd

It's hard to be a Ferrari fan when they are this incompetent.

No, but I agree, he could have been third. I'm happy now he wasn't though. It would have been even harder to swallow this.

It has always been hard to be a Ferrari fan. The lows can be so very low, it makes you getting depressed sometimes. But, the highs are so very high and exciting, that feeling can never be reached with any other team. Because Ferrari is not just about racing cars, it's pure passion.
And passion comes with highs and lows. Accept that, we just have to.
Why? Because we are fans of the only team that can really come to life: Ferrari.

Apparently, it wouldn't have made a difference after the DQ....would it?

What's with the demeaning of a members character by name calling?

It's not name calling....your comment is not relevant to the post I made DURING the race.

After nearly 50 years of supporting the Scuderia, I feel you just hit the nail on the head!

For me, the disappointment of today cannot wash away the joy about the Sprint Pole and our very first Sprint victory.

    Great job, Lewis

Ferrari are an utter embarrassment, at the moment, in the WCC and WDC standings.

Suzuka looks to be the "true pace" at Ferrari unless the updates help.

they have to bring this update, and it better get the car closer to the ground, without getting us dsq.

and they have to improve qualifying pace.

Engineers that make sure the numbers add up and cars are not disqualified, race engineers and drivers that are aware that what they say is broadcast, so they shouldn't sound like clowns, those things are the bare minimum, they are not the goal. This team is lacking men and leaders who make sure the bare minimum is respected.

Remember I wrote that the team loks professional this year... oh I jumped the gun so hard. Why is it so hard for our team to not look stupid by doing stupid things so often?

    Hamilton: "So this is Ferrari?"

    Leclerc: ".......yeah"

Why do I get the feeling Binotto, Sainz, and Toto have that "Mona Lisa" grin on their faces?

I truly appreciate the post from @Alonsomaniac. Passion comes with high & lows.

Yes it’s sad to see such result. People are forgetting one thing, Ferrari won the sprint race over McLaren/RB & Merc.
Leclerc was the fastest car even with FW damage in the First stint. Shame that communication issues are still going from the pit wall, as they are not listening to their drivers.

SF-25 does have the pace, we’ve seen glimpses of it. It’s just Ferrari team need time to understand the car & unlock the performance. Hopefully they turn up at Suzuka with good results. At the moment that’s what we can expect.

I can accept the fluctuations in pace at this early stage with the change in philosophy. However, these strategic (Australia not boxing) and now this engineering miscalculation are way too costly and amateur to be making. 1 car you can maybe accept, mercedes, redbull etc all have had issues like this but both cars? How often has that happened? Culture of fear or not that kind of mistake deserves some consequences internally.
