Leclerc must be disappointed by looking at Rus/Paistri & Max fighting for pole position.
Leclerc keeping that Ferrari in a good position.

As predicted, Ferrari turned out to be the 4th fastest car here.
    Great lap from Charles.
Hard days are ahead of Lewis . Now he has a teammate who's not only faster over the one lap, but also much faster over a race distance

    P1 - Max - RB
P2- Piastri - Mclaren - which should have been P1
    P3 - Russel - Mercs
    P4 - Leclerc - Ferrari

Clearly 4th Fastest team once again proved. I wonder when will our forum analyst (Junior Newey) will understand this.

It’s always on the cards. We’ve seen Leclerc vs Vettel (who was considered as fastest on a single lap). It ended Vettel career.
Now it’s time for Ham, margin is even bigger now.

I feel for Charles. He must know that given a comparable car he is up there with Max.
Ferrari give the man a car he will do the rest.

So 4th fastest team. And by some margin. The 3 other teams are basically within 1 tenth, then comes us with almost 4 tenths deficit. We're lucky the other McLaren crshed, Mercedes has a rookie in the other car and Red Bull's 2nd car is changing drivers as often as Lewis hairstyles.

One thing for sure is McLaren are clearly the fastest by quite a way.

Then I do think it’s Mercedes, the car looks hooked up under Russell and Antonelli is a rookie after all despite his much spoken potential.

Max is a phenomenal driver, Schumacher esque. How good is that car I don’t think anyone knows but the fact only max can drive it and he’s had quick team mates and buries them all it could be just as bad as ours.

Williams looks quick also and Charles could be just keeping us fourth fastest right now, if we look at Hamiltons pace we are fifth quickest

What I wonder about the most now is how the hell did Lewis manage to quailify on pole for the China sprint? What was done to the car there what can't be done since?

We are also lucky to be have a drive like Charles who's putting Ferrari in a respectable position year after year.

Hard to see a talent like him being wasted year after year

He will still fight for the title until the end, because he has the car underneath him.

And Charles again have to content with another year of disappointment.

You can't be serious. We are almost in the same position RBR was for a long time, a one driver team. The WCC is going to be lightyears away if Charles has to do it all alone in a car like this.

Yeah... can!t believe it's already his 6th season for Ferrari. Remember the insane fight with Max in Bahrain 2022? This guy has it. Surely. Even if I doubt him sometimes, I guess it's just Ferrari letting the man down again and again. Just like we did it with Alonso and Vettel.

Could it really be a political issue? Do we have a rat in the team for all these years? I'm lost...

And just a reminder, Charles said that they believe this track will be better for us and he believes the podium is in the game. Let's see.
Ferrari went from qualifying heroes and sucking in the races, to being consistent in race trim, but sucking in qualifying. The previous era where Ferrari had tons of poles flattered the team, and masked their race performance issues from the headlines.

As for the historic problems of Ferrari, it's down to the equipment. They saw Red Bull and other teams investing heavily in simulator programs, and early on and got it in their heads that sims are not critical to development. I'm talking like, ten years ago. When you arrive at the track on the backfoot and have to spend all weekend looking for a good setup, while your rivals come to the track with better baselines, that's a major issue.

Then you've got the wind tunnels and how outdated they were allowed to get before Ferrari finally upgraded them.

You can hire the best talent in the world, but if they've got outdated tools, you're still not going to win championships.

I say, give Vasseur another few years. Part of the problem is the fans and Italian media want everyone fired the second the red cars aren't winning races. The team is unable to build any chemistry and trust with each other.

Only good thing about Hamilton being so bad is that every race it gets funnier when people compare him to schumi, the actual goat

Not even close man. Lewis has had our only podium this season and it was a victory as well. He is getting in Q3, not like Checo who used to not go through Q1 all the time. It just looks to me like the car is such a b***ch that it's difficult to drive for a guy who was used to something totally different for a decade.
