Hopefully Charles is feeling well enough tomorrow. And hopefully we can have a better race weekend.

The PR staff are saying that Leclerc is feeling "unwell" and will rest. They don't go into detail of what that "unwell" is or how it was attributed.

Maybe we'll get more insight as to the nature of the illness and how it started as the day(s) goes by.

I'm expecting another tough weekend for us. Imola is a 'car track' and needs to be able to ride the high curbs well. Unless we managed to sort out the mid-corner grip loss we will be nowhere, again. Would love to see us do well in Italy. Schumacher winning at Imola on the day his mother passed away will stick in my memory forever

Good to hear. Let's hope whatever it was that it doesn't pop up again.

It looks like there is some speed on the car and it's very inconsistent and unpredictable.
On the on boards you can see our drivers fighting more with the steering wheel then the others.
Still early times late see what we can do better

No pace. They can only watch and learn, as always. McLaren demonstrates how to build a racing car. Not sure what they are doing back in Maranello.

I wonder if we tried to do something with our brakes to somehow manage tires like Mclaren does and failed terribly by introducing braking issues for our drivers.

At the start yes . At the 1st 3-4 laps i think Lec was probably the fastest always on 1:19s and McL 1:19 - low 1:20 . But as the laps past Lec moved to 1:20 - mid 1:20 and Mcl drop to 1:19s . Even Hadjar droped to 1:19 .
So yes looks descent pace but the initial thrill didnt continue.
Maybe im wrong (hope im wrong)

Truth is, I wouldn’t bet anything on our form this weekend, so far
Maybe they’ll tweak something overnight, but my optimism is quite low

Our race pace doesnt look bad
IF we managed to qualify on 2nd row , we might have a good race (all things considered)
But its a big IF !!!

    Yeah, IF…..that’s a big word
But we’ll see what changes they make over night to the set up, as they collected a lot of data
