FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Ferrari: Charles Leclerc's reaction just after winning the first line in Monaco.
- "We can always do better. The tour was a bit of a shame, because you take the measures for the next round, the decisive tour, and I found a lot of traffic and I couldn't do another one. But it's like that. I'm frustrated".
-
"We know that we do not have the car to win, but this weekend, the car works well. We started well on weekends, but tomorrow, it will be difficult to take first place."
- "I don't know what's special for me and for this circuit. I like urban circuits in general,
I like to go to qualifying and take the greatest risks to get the best possible result. Most of the time, this approach is paying, other times, it is not. "
- "But I am proud of our result. On paper, this weekend should have been one of the most difficult of the season for us. In the end,
It's not that bad. "
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
A. That's not what you said. You took a condescending attitude to Greig and I in the face of overwhelming evidence that you were indeed wrong.
B. We're not saying Ferrari just raised the floor here. Ferrari has to raise the floor everywhere. What we are seeing here, is more of what the picture would look like if Ferrari can fix the suspension issue and get this car to the ride height range it was designed with. I was only concerned if Ferrari would have to raise even more here, I didn't get my hopes up too far going into this weekend.
C. Just admit you were wrong and uninformed and make the "Cavallino is right post".

RIP Michelle Trachtenberg
insane lap Charles btw, he's been doing it under the radar since last season

was he saying he wanted to do two laps on those softs?

It has to do with the floor and the suspension. But as long as Ferrari does not have to make a comprise to set up the car, it’s fine. That’s what happens in Monaco. You don’t have to prepare for slower parts and a long straight, you go full down force and that’s it. The moment both parts come into play, Ferrari has a problem. That’s not good work in the offseason, unfortunately. Now we do hope for a shakeup in Barcelona and a Silverstone Update. Not the position you want to be in after what, 8 races?
Ves believes that Ham WILL BE penalized for impending, Vesseur believes he WILL NOT !!!!![]()
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Stroll just gor penalized for impeding. I'm afraid it does not look good for Lewis then.
You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Hamilton 3 places back.
You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse
Ham 3 place grid penalty … similar to 2023 with Leclerc. It believe it’s the same race engineer?
Mclaren & Leclerc : M-H-M/S
Max & Lewis : H-H-M/S
I believe this is the strategy … both Max & Lewis can the be dark horse in this race
My bad… there is Alonso & RB in between, he will not make it easier for Lewis.
Lewis penalty is BS, helping Max again.
You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse
Ferrari: Analysis of the SF-25's performance during qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix thanks to @Fred__18.
- Ferrari entered qualifying after Leclerc's three first-place finishes in free practice, and knew the margin of competitiveness was clearly there, but the challenge was certainly not the easiest.
- If there were still any doubts about the SF-25 running normally with completely untuned suspension, they were swept away in Monaco, with excellent overall performance, including in terms of load, and a rear axle that provided truly powerful traction from the start. Ferrari was the protagonist in Monaco, thanks also to the talent of Leclerc, who always manages to work magic on his home circuit, as on the final lap. Hamilton's fourth place, however, testifies to the car's good form on the narrow streets of the Principality.
- Norris had a better start and a better line at Saint Devote, and on the climb this time, their performances were even. Leclerc, however, was very aggressive under braking at Massenet and took the lead. In the slowest section, until then McLaren's strong point, the Monegasque driver probably gave everything he had and more, as he even managed to match Norris's performance, who had seemed unbeatable until then in the twisty section. Even Leclerc gained on the very short descent between Mirabeau and Loewes.
- The cars remained virtually even, even at Le Portier and in the first part of the tunnel (where Ferrari always gained traction), only to see Ferrari gain a few hundredths of a second before the Le Port chicane thanks to the reduced aerodynamic drag that allowed Leclerc to break away at 290 km/h (180 mph) compared to Norris's 286.
- In the third sector, it seemed as if the technical limitations no longer applied, especially to Leclerc, but also to Norris. The Englishman surprisingly won, taking advantage of the McLaren's strong charge and relying on the rear to drive, precisely in a corner where Leclerc had dominated all weekend. And it was there, in the last two corners (Rascasse-Noghes), that everything came down to it: Leclerc was unable to be precise and, above all, struggled to get on the gas early, perhaps with the rear tires less in the optimal window than Norris.
