But it's not a bad ideal at all... Worth considering it

Alonso mistake in s1 on final run? He lost 3/10 to Massa there. Is what it is now. Seems hard to beat Vettel on pure pace but Alonso lost huge points with circumstances out of his control so you never know. Title was over in 07 with 2 races left so all they can do is go as fast as they can.

Whatever. But the team should have/have set target of gaining 2 tenth on Redbull and the team failed yet once again. Actually the car lost 1 tenth to Redbull. This is frustrating.

There is no "clean side" on this circuit. Racing line goes through middle

    What is lost exactly?

There are four races left. You were all saying this after winter testing and look what happened. The attitude people have is absolutely pathetic. Glory supporters who only praise and back the team when they're winning and then slag them off and call for people to be sacked when we're not.

    It's ridiculous.

Stop complaining about updates! Stop listening to rumours! New f&r wings, diffuser what do you want from them, there is probably not much more time left in the car. It's disappointing but support the team and hope for the best.

Felipe will not get anywhere near Vettel to do this!

Would you have said Seb's alternator would fail in Valencia and Monza? Would you have predicted losing a huge lead by being taken out twice? No.

What's to say Seb won't crash out or be taken out or simply retire in the next two races while we finish on the podium?

You all give up so easily.

We are tired of promises. And from Alonso's and Massa's words they are as well, so should they leave as you are telling us? We are Ferrari fans so we are upset when we are strugling but (I don't know if some of you have such a short memory or what) we are getting so much false hope from the team that it is really frustrating. Remember Stefano saying that 2011 was the last disapointment? Yea, right. And those constant updates which are not comming? Starting every season by catching up others by copying theirs solutions... We are frustrated because we are a fans. If we were not, we would not care...

You also need to realistic as well though and the bottom line is for a long while now the car out the box and in season development has been at very least not great
    It's ridiculous.

A good performance by Alonso and Massa today.

I agree that anything can still happen for the championship, nevertheless it seems much more likely that Red Bull will take this one. It doesn't worry me, because Alonso is already my champion.

Do you think they're not all working 24-7 at the factory trying to fix things and improve our car? Or do you think they're all sat back drinking shots of espresso?

I don't know where you think Stefano has made promises. I've not heard him say "I promise that we will bring half a second to our car". He simply has sad what they are trying to do. What they want to do. Their aims and goals. What more can he do? Our wind tunnel has screwed us over and we are resolving it. Again, what more can we do? We can't suddenly build a state of the art tunnel in between two races can we?

Nobody has made promises to anyone, that's in your imagination.

I am so, so glad that Ferrari don't give up as easily as you lot. If they did, we'd be back in the midfield fighting with Toro Rosso like we were after winter testing.

Now RB's are starting every race SSAFELY from the first row, with a pace that at least one of them will disapear in few laps. There is nothing that could go wrong for them. And even one or two DNF's would mean nothing, when Vettel will win the ones he finishes.

I would not be so upsed and pessimistic if I would see a chance, but we are just not able to develop the car at least on the level of Bulls, so what do you want to achieve with that?

Still positive??? No need of being bcoz the 2012 WDC will be Vettel (i hate to say this) and alonso cannot do anything but just see vettel steal his titles in 2012 and 2010.
Even is vettel gets a DNF ...it does not improve the situation as we will go to abu dhabi and again be p5 or below..and aim of winning??
There cant be alternator and engine failures in each race!!

reading some comments, everybody would be dissapointed, and saying some attitude here is ridiculous, well what is ridiculous is wishing other drivers DNF, and/or relying on other DNF so our team can secure a better place, this is Ferrari not a low team wishing other cars can't make it to grab a leftover

You are right, they shouldn't promise you anything. It was said many times before, they should talk less about the car and its developement.

I believe that we have established by now that you don't win a championship through others' failures. The ease with which Vettel is putting that car on pole, and winning races recently, means that he can probably afford one (or even two!) DNFs and still be world champion. Work it out.

Also, don't expect to come to a Ferrari forum and see a lot of nice comments on a day like this.

Encouragement maybe, but not satisfaction - we're half a second away in a time when we should be battling it out for the championship, for goodness' sake..!!
