+ first stint on older tires. Yea, we are better than that. But it is not enough now. We need some outside help.

Great start and almost faultless race/ result from Alonso. Some luck and great co-operation from his team mate, but for the rest, perfectly judged, could do no more with the equipment.
Heroic race from Felipe. He really does seem to have his mojo working again! I'm sure there would have been some champagne in that bottle of Fernando's for Felipe

"We really didn't have a competetive car this weekend" Domenicali. So, apart from a slightly less than pefect pit stop for FA, we couldn't have asked for better. Well done all.

Oh yeahhh! Great race and fantastic result for us!
First time in my life I would like to congratulate Ham and Macca on a fine race. Thanks Ham for making finger boy cry and sweat.
And congratulations to both our guys for superb races and congratulations to the whole team.
That was again the absolute maximum that we could've hoped for. And at the end of the day I think it was the right decision to change Felipe's gearbox after all. Seeing how much trouble those drivers who started from the dirty side had, then I really think it was a decision that benefited everyone. Felipe was on fire today and still finished in 4th place, so all's well that ends well.

    Way to go boys!!!

I'm really satisfied with this result, even though we didn't manage to decrease the points gap with finger boy. It was a very exciting race and a superb result for us in the end. After yesterday's quali this was a dream result.

So 13 points to Vettel... anything can still happen in Brazil. Nothing is over, we can do this!

Right. I forgot that we had the tyres from q2 The situation (especially for the tyres) is going to be a lot better in Brazil but as it seems we are not able to fight for the win in normal conditions.

Considering where we were on the grid, to finish on the podium and Massa in 4th place iam very happy. Now on to Brazil with rain expected, and Vettel running engine gearbox to critical reliability point, its game on.

Good decision from the team as well, thinking slightly outside the box (for a change!). Those places at the start were crucial to the Championship. Massa did himself more favours with his drive from 11th than would probably have been possible from where he originally was.

Vettel caught traffic in the S curves which is why it affected him so much

Feet on the ground ..don't forget that there was a 40 sec gap with Vettel. We were no match on the race pace.

Super race, team thought of the start and gaining positions at start and not loosing them. Done practice starts, form clean and dirty side and made right conclusions. Felipe drove brilliantly, Fernando start and first corner was, well what can you say. Near the end turned the car down, as nice gap to 4th. Bring on Brazil, 13 points aint nothing, i will be and i will get my lil Keira to do rain dances all week.

    Forza Ferrari

Great job by all team today and weekend.

I was thinking in that direction too. It would be great not just to have rain on Sunday, but also to have it on Saturday. To mix starting grid also...

Looks like 60% of rain on Saturday and 70% chance of rain on Sunday.

Even if we don't win the WDC, I'm still happy that we could at least take the fight to the last race and didn't let finger boy off the hook so easily. Now at least the whole Red Cow has something to think about and worry at least for another week.
After all the headlines like: "Vettel ready to land a knockout blow in Austin" on various F1 sites, it's absolutely fantastic that we managed to prove everyone wrong again.

i really thought i would give liking vettel a chance(since hearing too many rumors abt him joining our team in the future),but his whining today was the last nail in the coffin!!!didnt really complain when the same drs got him the podium in abu dhabi, did he?26 wins but still a big time LOSER!

if ferrari really decide to get him in the future, they should definitely put him in a f2012 for a test drive before offering him a contract!

From pre season problems to now going to last race with chance of wdc and 2nd in wcc this is great. To be there or there abouts is great and now vintage Massa is back great Ferrari stuck with him he is as good as any one outside the holy trinity on the podium today. Win or lose its miles better than last year only 09 and 11 have Ferrari been completely out of it.

Can anyone please tell me, what kind of tyre compounds will Pirelli bring to Brazil?

They really screwed us over royally in Austin.

Rain alternators massa reliability could be factors next week, vettel has more too lose now. Pressure on, nothing certain next week
