Ah, good ol monsoon rain.

@ScarbsF1 2m
In modern F1, the teams won't change the mechanical set up for wet Q sessions, unless they are sure it will be a wet race

@ScarbsF1 1m
Instead teams will alter the electronic set up of the Power Unit for softer power delivery and gear changes

The same way you do in a race when it's raining. Drivers don't just follow each other through out the race without trying to do a overtake. They do overtake, and rarely you see these kind of contacts.

Whatever, this is blown out of proportion. No harm done, so just leave at that.

The same way you do in a race when it's raining. Drivers don't just follow each other through out the race without trying to do a overtake. They do overtake, and rarely you see these kind of contacts.

Whatever, this is blown out of proportion. No harm done, so just leave at that.

And the same would happen in the race, when someone just dlide into the corner...

Funny how our cars were known to have good traction, and since costa left merc now have the best traction and we struggle. Also don't get how RBR can make such comebacks. I think the wet is no good for us, would have been better off in the dry as our car is more geared toward aerodynamic grip than mechanical grip theses days.

And the same would happen in the race, when someone just dlide into the corner...

What i saw was an overtake, Kvyat was even on the kerb, and it wasn't an optimistic move that came out of nowhere, going or sliding wide or anything of that sort. Fernando had a lot of space on his right part of the track. We've seen many moves like that and it rarely ends up in something we saw today. We've seen loads of times drivers going side to side in these kind of conditions, rarely ending up like this. Dear say, you underestimate the drivers and their ability to see everything around them. If they were as blind as you state, we wouldn't see anyone finishing wet races, and now we're talking about intermediant tire conditions.

I say this again, leave it at that. Not really feeling comfortable going against our own driver.

The main reason that he couldn't improve was because of the heavy rain in S 2 and S3 , all besides Rosberg didnt managed to improve so the track was arguably slower by that point.

They seem to have probably the best car out there aerodynamically. They are brilliant in corners, but are loosing heavily in the straights. In dry, they were loosing close to 1 sec in the first sector, but gaining chunks in the middle one. Just wait till they get the engine running full power...

Don't think the Red Bull is better than us for now. It's the wet conditions that suit their car. But yes it's extremely worrying that they can improve their car performance by so much and so quickly. It makes a mockery out of all the other teams.

Did you really think that these rule changes would stop Newey from making a good chassis? As much as I hate Red Bull, there's no denying that Newey can design some decent cars.

You have to count in the lack of testing and the underperforming (by 10-20 km/h) Renault engine. With no issues, I think they are where they ended last year compared to others, but Merc (they have a terrific package).
