Dutch saying we are slow down the strait should be doing 24s instead ferrari are doing 36s wow that deep .It's testing fuel loads etc and Charles is doing pretty well.May be they should focus on the aero and speed of there cloggs.

Ferrari still again very slow in the long run, 3-4s slower than McLaren

Probably the slowest team that do long runs today, doing 1:36s consistently while other were doing 32s and 33s

That fuel tank must be very very heavy

The SF-25 in Leclerc hands doesn't like turn 13 and 14, struggling very hard there

Comparing the laps of #Norris and #Leclerc you can see how the programs are different. You can see the #Ferrari with a higher top speed but with early braking, similar cornering speeds, #McLaren faster in the snake. It seems that with the #SF25 I tried a tight lap with a lot of fuel, while the McLaren is trying more load and maybe less weight. It is practically impossible to directly compare them in a significant way in terms of performance. On the video they seemed to be two excellent cars, well balanced. It seemed to me that the McLaren had a little more directionality, therefore a slightly stronger front, but it would also derive from the greater load that the numbers show. Nothing, it is the first day, we must not look for sentences because for now there are none. #F1Testing #F1

So from this 1st day the only conclusion I can make is that we are either too slow ,that we have some problems to address with the front suspension and the rear end , OR we are quite confident with our speed and we are just checking the extreme set ups / fuel loads/ floor height etc

EXACTLY the way i look at it....it is impossible to have a clear picture from testing as everyone is doing and running different programmes.

Q3 in OZ will tell us roughly where we stand against the pecking order....but more so we'll get a clearer picture after 4-5 races if we INDEED have championship winning machine

so for now, we should just relax, sit back and enjoy the popcorn.

So far looking at the onboards, Mclaren looks like it's not bothered by anything, reliable, easy to drive, forgiving. Ferrari looks quite understeery in fast turns and like it's dancing on the edge. Hopefully we will sort this out.

There is more to come as the team gathers data and optimizes performance, expect them to close the gap as testing progresses!

Sf 25 is a new car they are running it in and as testing progresses Data is gathered then applied to maximise performance. Of this new car.Maclaren is basically a cut and paste from last season with some tweaks will this be enough time will tell..

They have less experience with the new pull rod suspension, they will need time to optimize their setup.

Good early laps from Lewis, considering he's on 24 laps old C3's

Car looks good..!! Stable rear & good traction. They need to fine tune the front end little bit.

Where do you see the Tyre info? On F1 live timing app there's a "Tyres" tab but it says Hamilton did 16 laps and shows just stints with the latest being 5 laps. But I can't see the age of the Tyres.

Yeah, she looks good. I'm not that worried about our performance right now, since we always start good. It's the middle part of the season when we lose performance by putting botched "upgrades" on the car.
