hi guys.

can i have title hope in Abu Dhabi.
S1 might be better for Red Bull, S2 should be better for us. Uncertain of S3...
I believe it's gonna be a close match for both, but in the race we should be able to overtake Red Bull during braking in S2.
Something I've been wondering, has the engine situation played more of a role lately than we really know? Has Ferrari been de-tuning Alonso's engines to make sure they last?
If so, he's still been able to keep fairly close contact with the Red Bulls.
Therefore, if Alonso has a rather fresh engine for Abu Dhabi, and they can turn it up a bit allowing Alonso to go all out, will he have more of an even pace with the RBs?
Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.
I think Abu Dhabi is quite similar to Germany in places and Singapore in places, both tracks were Alonso was very strong and Webber not so strong. There is plenty of reason to be optimistic, Alonso can beat Webber on pace alone!
I dont think its possible for him unless he is going flat out. And you can pretty much rule out vettel trying to take out Nando for the sake of webber, or even delaying him for the same reason. If Nando gets ahead of Webber.. then nothing is stopping him from winning the title.
Silently, like a shadow
James Allen seems to think we will run better there... He also says Abu Dhabi is not one of Webbers favorite tracks (struggled for pace last year) but anything could happen, let's hope we have a bit of luck and a perfect weekend!

I think it will be closer than today more of a Ferrari track than this one
i have to agree with your comment. vettel cannot be compared with alonso; Alonso is BY FAR the better driver out of the two....and one cannot keep him behind for very long.
i personally think that Abu Dhabi will fit our car better given that it has a two long straights and NOT too many high speed corners (where red fools shine) and our car being very strong and stable under braking, we should be OK....
Heck we might even be on pole....
we'll deffenately know better come friday practice...of course Ferrari prolly won't show their TRUE performance (as they usually do) until saturday come QUALI day.
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.
If Vettel tries to hold up Alonso he will just pass him!
All I know is this is going to be a long long week
This is probably going to be the longest week of the season...........I am a nervous wreck already!
Keep Racing!

I'm just glad its one week and not two
track might suit ferrari, but i reckon if everything goes fine... Red Bull will be at front in this one.. Alonso needs to stay behind them if that's the case, Vettel will try to win this one, and we can rule out Mclaren in this one Hamilton and maybe Button could play a role in this one, last year Hamilton was good in quali in this track... let's just hope Ferrari can put the car to get the voctory and the WDC for Alonso
Please Massa, get in there and take some points off the Red Fools.
Last race of the year.
.
Imagine this:
1st Vettel
2nd Webber
3rd Hamilton
4th Kubica
5th Massa
6th Alonso
.... If it stays like this Vettel wins the WDC, if Ferrari swap their drivers Alonso gets it, if RBR swap their drivers Webber wins it.
Can you imagine the last corner? Vettel would cross the chequered line with Webber second, and then Massa breaks heavily and Alonso goes through!![]()
We got this! The circuit doesn't have a single curve, its all angular short corners barring hairpins and we have awesome traction so yeah, WE GOT THIS!
The track is fine for us, we will be going all out to do what we need to win the title. We have saved the best available engine for this race, and Fernando will have an option to dial up max power. He will use that in Q3 and, only if necessary, during the race. IMO our first task will be for Fernando to keep in the correct position in relation to Mark and Seb. Felipe could help us with a win here, but, strangely enough, our best support this race is (based on current form) more likely to come from Lewis. Him winning would be great for Fernando. If Lewis or Felipe won and Mark was second, Fernando would only have to come in 5th.
^^ Totally diggin' the Fawlty Towers reference.
Yeah the track is fine for us, McLaren should also be strong and Red Bull will definately be there. So it's essentially status quo and I don't expect any drastic changes to the pecking order. We can only do our best and go all out to secure the WDC; RELIABILITY IS NOW EVERYTHING. In some ways, I'll take reliability over the very prime starting grid positions.
I wish you were right. Marc Gené said during the race that Alonso will be using the same engine he used in Monza and today. I don't think it's the best available engine, it's the only one available. If you think an engine might have a problem you would leave it for the last race, maybe they left this engine for the last race in case the title had been won already. Maybe it's a normal engine but I doubt it's the best one.
VET, WEB and ALO will be afraid of a reliability problem: engine, brakes... Massa, Hamilton and others will not have much to lose but they're in the fight for the WCC. Maybe the last upgrade for Alonso's car is a DNF simulator with real smoke, noise and vibration on the tyres in case he's 3rd or 4th in the last 3-4 laps with Vettel 1st and Webber 2nd.
Sorry, it's hard not to think too much about the next race in Abu Dhabi.![]()
All tracks are red bull tracks, they being on pole or not depends if both drivers mess up their qualifying or just one of them does, as usual.
i cant get a straight answer from anyone about the Bahrain engine. is this still usable or not. speed sait it was. i was under the imreppsion that it had blown in china practise. what is the deal please?
we're number one
