Nandos last lap, which put him P1, was his first angry lap on options

We are with softs now, but Alonso looks fast, but maybe is because the fuel charge, we have to wait till tomorrow.

Nando was 3rd behind turn-the-Petrol-off (2nd) and Felipe (1st)n with his time on primes though, so he's looking pretty good TBH so far.

    Thats it for FP2

I'm surprise to see Alonso up in P2, ahead of both RB. But maybe RB are not even trying yet?

We look good, but we locked good in FP on the last race and the race didn't go that well. Let's hope we are running the same amount of fuel as the others.

    They don't need to sandbag.

This is just Friday. I am not taking Ferrari times serious. As EL NANO said, I am sick of being crushed in Q3 and humiliated in race. Let's just have fun, and don't see Vettel crowned on Sunday afternoon (local time)

Red Bull are going to destroy us this weekend - their car is too stable in the corners, has so much downforce.

I'm expecting 5th in qualifying, 4th in the race.

yup, it's gonna be another painful weekend for us Ferrari fans
apparently the Bulls are the only team that can go with rear wing WIDE open through the 130R........so that tells you HOW much downforce they have

we'll be lucky to finish 4th...

i think the front rows will be filled with red fools and mcCheaters, unless Nando puts in a SWEET lap to get himself between the two

I think we can win at anytime...I bet a lot of the teams are trying
components for next year, so these last few race fridays are interesting.
Im betting on a Ferrari win.

Indeed, due to the lack of major chance next apart from the exhaust system, basically any new parts for next year would be legal this year. We can race any of them if we wanted.

I would be most happy if we bolt on some new parts and win a race before the season ends

A thought has slowly crossed my mind - that in 2012 I shall be able to watch quali & races on live streams , such as those mentioned above, as opposed to watching the measly 50% the BBC is trying to palm us off with as a great favour to its licence paying public or the wretched Murdoch BskyB! I could watch e.g. an Aussie stream?

I can't believe it's as simple as this Am I right and there is a free-to -air alternative or is there a catch I'm missing here?

From what I've read, RedBull's long-run pace on "heavy" fuel load has amazed everyone. I'm guessing they know how much the EBD ban will cost them next year and have started improving their long-run pace otherwise they're dead meat for Mclaren and Ferrari on race day. Without EBD, Vettle won't be able to pull a lead and maintain for the rest of the GP, they'll have to race. Since they are wrapping both championships this early, they again have a head start to everyone else for next year. I'm hoping Ferrari can double time it and at least match their pace, rest will be up to Felipe and Fernando to take care of.

Yes you will be able to, but these live streams aren't as great as they sound. Sometimes the picture quality isn't that great, you can also get one that halts and jerks a lot, plus FOM will sometimes shut the streams down mid-race (I've had to scramble to find replacement streams and sometimes had to settle for watching the rest of the race on a Polish, Russian, Chinese or what-have-you stream.). That said, I have been finding great quality streams this year and it seems as though they aren't getting shut down.

    Ferrari twitter:

Let's come back to the daily life of an F1 team.... Both Felipe and Fernando are sitting in the garage, waiting for the right time to go.

Both drivers are back in their cockpit, ready to go.
    Both have left the garage

    A few seconds later: KABOOM

Red flag: Senna crashed out of T14

They certainly have a nose for the 'right moment to go'!

Really dumb that 1 compound tire is 1 sec per lap slower than the other..what could possibly be the purpose of that...
