Enzo Ferrari once drove with him and recalled even on bends "he never took his foot from the accelerator".

Let's just hope Red Bull haven't got a DRD system working straightaway. It will be very difficult to beat them if they do.

Having said that, my feelings are positive. Expecting 1st or 2nd row for qualifying. But the weather predictions mention rain for qualifying. This may or may not work out in our favour! We know the F138 is competitive in the rain but sometimes we make some bad tactical mistakes.

It saddens me to see Ferrari fans having fear of Red Bull just because Adrian Newey is designer over there.

Don't worry, guys, help is on the way.

Last year, Stefano was asked about the design team, and he said that firing a man is a job of two minutes and that the hard part is finding a replacement. Fast forward to this week, and we have Nicholas Tombazis alluding to the fact that a certain South African is gonna take his place. It all makes sense, to be honest.

Rory Byrne saying the Schumacher period gave him quite a buzz. Then he appears on the F138 launch saying the current car is "nice" but child's play compared to the 2014 prototype - on which he's working hard. Then the LaFerrari is launched and, surprise, it's designed by Rory Byrne.

I guess that was the warm-up and the proof to Ferrari that he can still do it.

I just went to my "regular" link and they're replaying the 3rd day at Barcelona, at the moment!
BUT... it shows that they'll be showing First Practice live!! http://www.vipbox.tv/motorsports/131...am-online.html
Be patient with all the pop ups, it's worth it once you've gotten them out of the way!!

I like your optimism but that is dangerous. Let's not get disappointed this year. Rain could be good, Felipe managed a 30 lap run on inters in testing with almost no deg. much better run than others. But Mercedes and Lewis could be a threat in the rain. But then I still see their race pace being a little off Ferraris but then you have the Bulls and Macs and Lotii (when they aren't breaking down) to consider.

I am just chewing through all my nails.

    Melbourn weather:
    Sat: 70% chance of rain
    Sun: 40% chance of rain
I guess everyone will be on equal footage if it rained, except the rookies.

If you're watching the BBC feed, I recognize Martin Brundle, Damon Hill and Jake Humphrey; but, who's the fourth gentleman?

Usually two (I think) of them are in the commentary box where they get the video feed and timing info, while some of them are walking up and down the pit lane reporting from there, and interviewing people.
