According to DC:
'Alonso is normally so positive about his chances, but his post-race comments were revealing. He said: "They need to do something and they need to do it now." That's as close to banging the table as you get. '
Yes
No

"Okay,...Jean is smarter than you....... can you confirm you understood that message" Bernie on the phone to Max circa 2009
Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines - Enzo Ferrari circa 1960
Can't believe it but wouldn't put my hand into fire as I don't know him personally ...
Other question: where would he go then? Which team for winning WDC?
Mclarens? - No
Lotus (former Renault)? - No, I might be wrong, but he isn't welcome there
RBs? - No not as long Vettel and especially Marko is there. Marko nearly hates Fernando
Merc? - No
so where to go for winning WDC?
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.
Nah, that's just the press dramatizing everything (yet again)
If he wants to take his toys and leave he can as long as he takes his fans with him. I hope none of them let the door hit them in the behind on the way out.
Ferrari existed for decades without Fernando Alonso and will continue to do so without him. And they will again win championships whether he is there or not.
Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.
I would say if where not challenging in 2014 aka winning he will leave and spend his last two years with RBR or Mercades if they are competative...but for 2014 he will be with us, begging to win next year! So nervous about Ferrari engine its unreal! I have a funny feeling!
LOL. Despite Alonso insisting he doesn't want to leave Ferrari, again some people draw a conclusion from nothing.

I don't think he will leave but the team need to be very careful here. If he hears more lies and blaming him for lack of good enough results he'll get very angry and consider elsewhere. What's so disappointing is that almost every other team has gone forwards in terms of performance whereas we have gone sideways despite our immense resources. Frankly, I think there are too many politics at Ferrari everyone covering for each other whereas Alonso may get the feeling he is expendable? Remember towards the end of last year the confrontation with Fry? He has been extremely patient with us but it must be tiring hearing excuses after excuses from the team us fans are tired of it too. The latest media article mentions that the temperatures were too hot which is why the mediums didn't last that long at the start. But Ferrari knew it was going to be hot? Just sounds like another excuse. And when it's hot we perform better - speaking of qualifying but we took a different and risky route.
Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.
All I can say is that, if Alonso leaves, Ferrari will be regrouping again. Just as they did when Alonso arrived Maranello.
People tend to forget, in F1 these days the team evolves around the driver, when the driver leaves a big ***** of the important guys either get roles swaps or leaves.
Just as ACosta, CDyer and we got in PFry. To me those are BIG changes...
Personally I don't think Alonso will leave, but then what do I know ;)
Voted NO, I think it's unlikely he's even thinking about it...
It is suggested above that he won't leave because there is no better team for him to, he's said he will finish his career at Ferrari more than once, so maybe that isn't the point, maybe a sabbatical (it revitalised Kimi) or retirement are also possible, I read a comment from him recently where he said family is 90% of his life, racing is the other 10%, maybe he's just becoming a bit disillusioned with it all...
I don't think it's fair to generalize that the people who criticize the team and Massa are Alonso fans. We have to remember that
1. There have always been people who are critical of Ferrari and Massa long before Alonso joined.
2. There are also Massa's fans who are critical of the team, lets not deny that.
As far as the support for Alonso in Ferrari, I'm sure he has won over many Ferrari's long time fan too with the thing he has achieved since he came aboard. People who would still continue following Ferrari after Alonso retires.
Not that I agree with the constant bashing against Ferrari of course, but I don't feel is right to antagonize any group of driver's fan. Many of the criticism comes from people who have been following Ferrari before Alonso or Massa joined the team. I guess it's just different Ferrari fans with different mindset.
Kimi too has received a lot of criticism during his time in Ferrari. Such criticism isn't unique to a particular driver of fans.
No.
Simple, he will stay, its DC trying to flame the fire were there is nothing there.
CAVALLINO RAMPANTE PER SEMPRE
I agree with this. He has no where else to go. He burnt his bridges at Mclaren. In the second half of 2009, Bouller was blaming Renault's poor performance on Alonso. I don't think he sees eye to eye with Boullier. As you said for Red Bull, Marko would not want him there. Merc would have been a possiblity last year (before they signed Hamilton). I think Brawn has said he would like to work with Alonso. However, at the moment Mercedes have 2 drivers under contract.
Actually, I think Red Bull would welcome him even at the expense of Vettel.
This is the most unanimous poll I have seen in a long time
Seriously, why would Alonso leave Ferrari? Yes, the car is not great, but the answer to that is to turn it around, not to switch teams.
Alonso will not leave. He has said a number of times that Ferrari will be his last time in F1 as this is the place where he wants to be. He said, no long ago, that even if he doesn't win another title, he will stay at Maranello. The only way I can imagine him out of Ferrari is that, for some reason, the team would like to get rid of him, which, to me, sounds incredible as of today.
He explains again and again that, in a bad year at Renault ( 2009, for example ), he had no options, he was on a constant basis 14th; a bad year in Ferrari means that he will still be out there in the front package, maybe not leading but grabbing some podiums, and reminds that in 2 of his 3 seasons in red he has kept his chances to become champ until the very last race.
Very clever your comment and I agree with you. I am Ferrari fan since 1994, Schumacher fan since 1996, Alonso's fan since 2004. I never criticize Massa or Ferrari team in this forum!" If "mediator" like tony or redarmysonia is so ironic I quit this site. I am not 25 year old. Remember, ferrari fan is NOT only member on this forum.
Fernando has a contract until 2016, i always find it quite funny when people in forums take some rubbish article to 1. make up a story, 2. bash the driver in question + his fans (with both saying nothing actually) for the self made story, and 3. blaming said driver and his fans for self made story. Amazing.
Voted for NO! But if he wants to leave, then he's welcome to do so. Ferrari existed waaaaay before Alonso was even born and has triumphed without him, so he ain't no "holy God's gift to Ferrari" who should be begged to stay on, as many of his fanboys try to make it look like. With or without Alonso, Ferrari will do just fine and will triumph again, I have no doubt about that. I mean don't get me wrong, I sincerely love and respect Alonso as a Ferrari driver and I want him to stay with us for many more years, but him leaving from Ferrari certainly wouldn't be "the end of the world". Drivers come and go, but Ferrari will always be there. We survived Schumacher's departure and so I'm sure we will survive Alonso's departure as well. And quite frankly most of his fanboys are really annoying and arrogant (no offence intended to normal Alonso fans who respect Ferrari too), so if Alonso would leave from Ferrari and take his annoying fanboys with him then that really wouldn't be such a bad trade-off. But like I said, I certainly hope he will stay...and if not...well nothing tragic. *shrugs*
KEEP CALM AND LOVE FERRARI
Voted No since it's highly unlikely that he will leave. Where would he go? McLaren is a no-no, even without Ron, Mercedes is a valid option but they are more or less locked for the future (I bet Ross would love to have Fernando there), Lotus is a possibility but it would in a way be a step down/sideways and RBR is something only Fernando-fans will dream about as it's widely known that Helmut Marko doesn't like him.
He does have a contract up to 2016, but then again so did Kimi for 2010. If he keeps plodding without titles for 2013-2015, I could see that he will retire one year early but without moving to another team. He seems a lot more vocal and frustrated lately and obviously for a good reason, but it's very uncharacteristic of him.
And I have to agree with REDARMYSOJA that the attacks against the team and Felipe from Fernando-fans are lame and tiresome and something we could live without.
Don't think so ...
He just get's angry when people starts complaining that the FERRARI car isn't good enough for this or that driver. And as he also wrote: drivers will come and go (and leave more or less traces in the history of the prancing horse) but Ferrari will be the constant ... he cares about the Scuderia first ... and then the driver ...
And even he don't like Fernando (and his fans) he appreciates the work he is doing for the team and shows every weekend that he is a racer and never gives up ... (would have quoted the posting from Redarmysoja where he wrote why Fernando fit to this team so well)... found it
But I bet Redarmysoja will tell you with his own words ...
But (and that is a very good point from @Hornet) the attack against the team and also against Felipe isn't only from Fernando Fans alone ... so maybe too general spoken and too easy ...
