The car looks terrible frankly. Mercedes and Red Bull are easy to drive. Even Alonso can't get the Ferrari around today.

    Did anyone notice:
    1. Our car's suspension is so much stiffer than all the others? The thing hardly rolls into hi speed corners.
    2. The Merc engine is revving upwards of 13k?
    3. FIA is not showing the speed on the onboard shots on the straights?

What is going on inside the team? I mean seriously? What are all the guys we hired last year doing? Where is the improvement that James Allison was supposed to bring? It's like we're always either standing still in terms of development or get worse...I just can't understand it anymore. We take one step forward and then two steps backward again. I hate complaining and I never want to say anything bad about our team, but the incapability to make any sort of progress is getting really frustrating. *sigh*

So where do we go from here? More updates or write off 2014 and all efforts on 2015 development?

Not good for us :-S.we are the only team who downgrade our car every gp .
I was hoping for more but let s be realistic mercedes is too dominant for us ....so is Redbull.
Last race Ferrari was 0.5 off and same pace of RB and now we are way off.Difficult wk

It's in inevitable I fear. Only B-spec car could possibily save us, but as our engine is techologically behind, we are ****.

Seems like Felipe’s words in a recent interview seem just about right. Ferrari can’t bring updates to races that actually work, if THEIR life depended on it…LOL

I hate to be the pessimistic one, but I this this year is a lost cause/hope for us; mind as well concentrate on testing stuff for 2015; Mercedes is MILES, MILES ahead of everyone this year and sadly, they are gonna win BOTH championships.

Since this year there is a FREEZE on power units, we are hopeless in making a better power unit, we have no choice but play with what we have.

Now for next year, we can actually make improvement like having a bigger turbo (like Merc’s have), as well as modifications to the engine to make it better and more powerfull.

Until then we have to suck it up and admit we’re the SORE LOSERS AT THIS GAME…at least for this year.

Stop cyring please, look at live timimg,we have the same race pace as Riccardo.Sometimes he is faster, sometimes we are.McLaren is behind us,rest also.So that mean we will fight for the podium.Mercedes is in the other leauge now,so let's focus on Redbull.

So less downforce, less top speed, less power from PU... Is there anything that we outdeveloped the competition? Smaller intakes but to no effect!

To me the car seems like it’s a HANDFULL to drive, even in the hands of Fernando Alonso compared to Mercedes or Red fools.

I can’t say I’m gonna be too extatic if we will fight for 3rd place again this weekend, although the way the car seems so far if we get a 3rd place again it will probably feel like a WIN.

But we are Ferrari, nothing less than a WIN is good for US…and I’m sure the team feels the same; but until then, I guess we’re gonna have to settle for what we can get.

Like I said, sadly I don’t thing Ferrari has an answer for Mercedes this year…but hey, I’d be more then glad to be PROVEN wrong by Ferrari.

I think Ferrari spent these THREE weeks getting better air hose equipment in the pit lane

We may not be FAST, but our cars will surely look good when they come in the pit stops….LOL

The live timing doesn't matter much when the car is so unstable and difficult to drive as it obviously is. The onboard footage of how much Alonso and Kimi have to fight the car to keep it on track says it all really. We might be on 4th and 5th position at the moment, which basically seems quite good, but unfortunately the car is really unstable and lacking downforce it's just obvious. When the driver has to correct the racing line 5 times in the middle of a corner...that's bad!

Guys, anyone still believe we gonna get any championship this year?
Even Maccas improved at this race it seems,RBR did and they are not at their 100% engine power (i suppose)

What a fool we have made of ourselves ,getting these rule in and now this is the result.

This is only second free practice. Let the data be annalised at the factory and let's see how we will do tomorrow morning.

It is way too early to start crying now already

I agree, from the times especially on mediums both Ferrari were more or on part with red bull and rosbergs Merc.
Merc seem to struggle on hard while we are slower but marginal;y doing better in comparison with mediums which means in the long term the hards can benefit us.

Im positive about the race, we can surely fight for podium this week.
