Kimi will have a win before the year is out. I truly hope it will be in Spa.

I hope he stays at Ferrari next year. The car works for him, he is pushing and looks like he is really enjoying himself.

Unfortunately we still dont have quite enough pace atm. We need great strategy and perfect driving to take 2nd, but 3rd and 4th are guaranteed. So...team should keep on pushing and bring some updates in Barcelona on aero side since we know there wont be any on PU.

Vettel is allowed a bad day in the office every once in awhile, today was just one of those days. It was unfortunate that one single mistake resulted in a damaged front wing which then caused his race to went downhill quickly. So there was an element of luck there, to be fair to him.

Without that mistake, I think Vettel stood a good chance of podium, and could be 2nd in the WDC standing. Just to put a little pressure on Lewis even if we can't win it.

I'm surprised by how fast the Williams was at accelerating though. Must be a Merc PU thing.

But we can discuss Seb, can't we ?

So the car was perfect, Seb had messy drive, I still think Seb is not one of the bests and this races show it.

Btw Macca was 30kph slower on top speed, if they keep developing at this pace, they will be soon around us.

So let's enjoy lapping Macca by now.
    Go Ferrari, beat them all!

Good result. Kimi drove a great race.

I think we could have won on pace though.

These are good times we're living in right now...watching Ferrari fighting for the wins and the garbage Macca crawling at the back getting lapped in every race...fantastic!

Ferrari just finished Bahrain race with positions 2nd and 5th and people are complaining? This race result - and the whole season so far - is beyond the wildest dreams.

Kimi: "I am never happy when I finish second. After a difficult start of the year it as a good place to get some results and we came though very quickly in the end but unfortunately we ran out of laps. We have to be happy after the way we qualified and way we finished but we will be looking for better results.

It was not just one mistake. He damaged his wing in his 3rd off track adventrue in the race. Too much for my taste. And the Williams... Kvyjat and Nasr did not have problems with Massa. It is not Mercedes engine. It was... and you guys will eat me alive for that (and I like Seb, I really do)... but it was Sebastian today.

Well, to be fair to Vettel, he was on the same tire/pit strategy as the Merc. So his entire game plan only involve pushing crazy as hell on track. He did not have any strategical advantage. A driver is more likely to make mistake when he have to push harder on track.

Another very encouraging GP, getting on P2 in qualifying and P2 on the podium. Compared to Australia we're making great strides, never mind compared to last season. I'm looking forward to the rest of this season - and it's nice to be able to do that!

Got to say, in Vettel's defense, team puts him in very tricky position. He is able to put monster laps in qualis, and then has objective to push Mercs as hard as he can and then undercut them. That way he is driving more on the edge and can't really take a care of his tires...Kimi drives his own race though. He gets into clean air more and he was pitted few laps after Vettel when it was optimal to pit, while Vettel had to sacrifice still good tires to undercut the Mercs which we did, but then Rosberg turned their quali mode or whatever and dropped 1 second lap advantage on one lap fresher tires.

Still a long way to go but what an amazing turnaround for the team! Bravo to everyone and congrats to Kimi, brilliant race! Good thing its Barcelona next in few weeks time because this car is yearning for some upgrades!

SOO CLOSE, even Toto said that one more lap and Kimi would have won as both Mercedes cars had brake failure. I certainly like this year more than others, both Ferrari and Mercedes are lead by gentlemen and their managers speak like gentlemen, none of that sour grapes Mclaren taunts we used to get in the late 90's on wards when we were rising to dominance. With Mclaren on NO POINTS and one car not even racing AND Ron in charge so he cannot blame anyone but himself, i am liking this season

Massa finished 10th with a damaged floor. He'd have been fighting for a podium spot otherwise.
